Dude massive respect for covering Radiant Historia. Atlus really needs to get this to modern consoles as the story and characters are amazing and it's undoubtedly one of the best jrpgs the ds can offer.

Criminally underrated Anime Tiddies

Blood Of Bahamut This game was released only in japan but got a english patched version. Visually it’s very impressive and the gameplay is a lot of fun. You are basically playing shadow of the collossus for the ds(not fully true, but check it out! )

This is an impressive list of games you have here, the only one game I've heard of was Jump ultimate Stars, it definitely looks badass and I would love to try it, all the other games look fun and I'd be willing to try them, thank you TVGS for another great list of underated games 👍

Infinite Space and Radiant Historia are buried gems I discovered while on a hunt, both are amazing with replayability values. Definitely a must have

Infinite space is great! It's a bit difficult at times but I think that's part of it's charm.. The music is great too

great list James.. Draglade, Foto Showdown, Elebits, Henry Hatsworth, Lost Magic, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, Ninjatown, Orc and Elves, Robocalypse, Tokyo Beat Down, Touch the Dead and Zoo Keeper here are some of mine I think are underrated games on the DS.. Radiant Historia is one of the favorite game on the DS..

I would like to have Ghost Trick: Phantom, Detective as an honorable mention. It's by the same team behind the Ace Attorney series. This game completely blew my mind for well executed it is in its story, characters and gameplay as it had me on the edge of my seat every time.

Radiant Historia is one of the best games I've ever played. I wish Atlus will make an HD remake for the Switch and other modern consoles.

Jump Ultimate Stars I had it on an R4 card, it was in Japanese and never got old. I miss that sweet game of mine.

Just got one from a friend and bought 5 games (mainstream ones) but coming to these channels so I can find more good ones that aren’t on the radar

Jump Ultimate Stars has a fan translation that translate all the menus, koma panels, tutorials and objectives so that you can navigate the game more easily. I just wish they did the same to it's predecessor, Jump Super Stars.

Infinite Space is one of my favourite jrpgs.And it also one of the lengthiest.Took me more than 80 hours to finish it.

*You getting some real good mileage out of these thumbnails, aren't ya?* Nah but for real tho, Radiant Historia is great. Finished last year and was a real fun time. Also thanks a ton for including Rhythm Heaven here. One of my most fav rhythm game franchises that actually got me into the whole genre in the first place.

Watch out for Infinite space and make sure you have backup saves lol. I got soft locked twice, once by backtracking in a way that bugged a story flag, and once where a random battle over-rode what was supposed to be my next story mission encounter and prevented me from progressing. I lost a lot of playtime by not having a backup save

Don't forget the Sierra-style surprise dead ends. I'll never forget exploring a pirate base and having to choose the left or right path. Went left and got spaced. Loaded my save and went right. Spaced again... my last real save was before Yuri the Man even started. I died a bit and dropped the game for months

Great video!, Radiant Historia can be easily the best JRPG on the DS and arguably one of the best of all time

Rhythm Heaven is AWESOME! Music based WarioWare. Infinite Space is a great game as well. Sadly, I never finished it.

two VERY underrated games are Spectrobes and Chocobo Tales and I never see them on this type of list unfortunately

Dang, Cop the Recruit looks really good for a DS game, so does Sideswiped.

It is one of the best space operas of all time

I’d recommend “Henry Hatsworth”. A super fun puzzle/platformer.

Gotta love how Sideswipe is basically every race on GTA Online.

I'd add Theresia: Dear Emile, a kinda survival horror game that IMO was really good. and also, for those who love rpgs, I recommend Nostalgia and Solatorobo

Perfect Chronology has DLC, you should get it before the eShop closes.

Jet Impulse was an amazing game that never made it outside Japan. Ive never seen it make any underrated lists :(

Radiant Historia - Fantastic Infinite Space - Colossal disappointment. Trackmania - surprisingly fun.

Surprised Jump Ultimate Stars got covered! For me, Space Invaders Extreme 1 & 2 are underrated gems. Does Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars count too? I think it sold poorly on the DS despite getting good reviews.

GTA CTW is an awesome game, and tied with Vice City as my most favorite GTA, but it is extremely NOT underrated lol. I remember seeing massive ads for it printed on the side of skyscrapers in LA when I was a small child. It is a well-known game.

Fighting Fantasy: the Warlock of Firetop Mountain is a spectacular game almost nobody talks about. It’s a first-person open-world action RPG, and anyone who likes games like Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, Anvil of Dawn, Dungeon Master, etc will absolutely love it! It runs at 60 fps and is one of the most technically-impressive games on the platform, and the gameplay itself is a blast. Tons of content, very deep mechanics, and fluid combat. Although I compared it to those other games, like Daggerfall, the actual combat experience is way way way better in Fighting Fantasy. They really perfected that style of old-school FPP RPGs with Fighting Fantasy.

@@hippitymcstribbs4906 Yup, and the one on DS is a standalone game. Completely different than the Android game. It’s a first-person open-world adventure game.

I HIGHLY recommend everyone to check out custom robo arena. I found out just how little people know of the game and it's heartbreaking.

I liked the DS since i played NSMB, but those where really underated games i could try some of these once...

If you plan to do a part two , I suggest you take a look at Etrian Odyssey , specifically the third game .

Etrian is a weird series. It's very niche, but there's like 6 episodes, two remakes and three spin off.

Fossil Fighters being on the list makes me happy and still the best DS RPG.

Sideswiped at a glance could've fooled me into thinking it's a Dreamcast game. I love the shadows on the cars and the cars themselves also look very nice. Might pick that one up

Finally someone mentioned Fossil Fighters

Also my favorite JRPGs for this console is Metal Max 2 and 3. And these games never left Japan, so that's the reason to learn Japanese.

Pretty nice video. I would add Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road.

I'm sorry, but WHERE is Mario Hoops 3 on 3/Mario Slam Basketball? That game is SO underrated, I don't think anyone even remembers that it even existed. I used to be one of those people untill I heard Rainbow Ship (CD) in late 2021, and wish I had a chance to play the game on my 3DS

Hell yes, Radiant Historia is really good

The DSI had so much more power underutilized. I really wish that would have used the new cpu and extra ram to make better looking games just for the dsi, im not sure why they didnt. The only game I have seen that even tried was asphalt 4 elite racing which is dsi ware. I love nanostray 1 & 2!

Add to the list :- Solatorobo the red Soma Bringer FF crystal chronicals (both parts) Dragon Quest ix (full 3D game with lot of exploration and many planets) Lufia Phantasy Star (many of people know about it and many of don't, that's why it's in my list) Tales of VS (like jump stars but better mechanism and consists of many characters from Tales series)

It seems there a few games that looked good for DS game, Sideswiped being one, Cop the Recruit being the other.

i think nostalgia is another underrated game on ds, its such a good rpg

The Alice in Wonderland movie tie in game is fantastic.

Just looked up prices for Sideswiped (which looks really cool) and it's going for hundreds of dollars!!! A lot of these forgotten gems go for high prices these days.

I would have loved to see Avalon Code here, man i fucking loved that game. And magical starsign, the sequel to Magical Vacation from the SNES, man that game is long and i loved the whole thing.

Ds and wii are going to be much more appreciated once people realize its an endless pool of awesome little games

I tried to play Infinite Space, and while I definitely enjoyed it, there was a point where I had no idea what to do to advance the story, so I stopped playing.

Dude, you have to to tell me how you got introduced to the DnB track in the intro. The combination of being obscure, nostalgic and perfectly to my taste is a statistical anomaly and makes me feel I am not alone in this world.

Still got a copy of Jump Stars. Sucks that it never got an English port cause I had no idea what I was doing in the menu. Great game.

I’d still love to see another Graphically Impressive DS Games, as there’s one game, KH 358/2 Days, that I’d love to see And also the vehicle physics in Sideswiped truly look impressive for the DS

Good video mate, can u help me? i have been looking for 2 ds games: - First one: the last time i played this was around 2006, its a 3D game about mechas. I remember it had levels where you can play as a big mecha or a small mecha that can jump. The protagonist is human, like militia. The game feel like a tank game where you aim and shoot. -Second one: Its a ninja game where you can choose your gender. When you kill, you get a 'card' of that type of kill that you can sell. The game plays itself in 2D, like pokemon type view. It has boss fights and traps.

Dementium The Ward was absolutely amazing.

Infinite space was one of my favorites

Played Jump Ultimate Stars to the BONE!!! Unlocked all characters, aced all the challenge, made tons of deck containing combinations of my favorite characters... This game is awesome. I mean, i love Smash Bros, but this one is the better version if you like Shonen Jump series (One Piece, Dragonball Z, Naruto, HxH, Bleach, and many more) And, if you search for it, there's an english patch for it
