I miss this criminal minds, I really loved the team they had

So, I stopped watching this show that I loved after I saw an episode in syndication. "Ashes and Dust" I believe. An arsonist burned the houses of several families. Hotch interviewed a survivor of the arson, with the knowledge that her family was dead. He lied to her that they were being treated and sat with her while she eventually passed away from her injuries. I cried. I cried so hard. It still saddens me to this day. This is a glorious show, but it's sometimes too intense for the overly empathic. ... and I'm going to buy the box set today.

Yeah, I think Hotch lying to her is as the most compassionate thing someone could do in a moment like that. She would’ve just died scared and sad if she knew her family didn’t make it. The hard part of the show at times for me is, there are predators out there that really are sick enough to enjoy killing and torturing people. The shows characters and episodes are loosely based off of many real life killers and cases.

They should be together! I know Emily is gone now but maybe if she ever comes back. I don't know why the writers never went for this.. I mean I know it wouldn't go with the "vibe" of the show since the BAU is supposed to be like family and romantic relationships between the agents would jeopardize that but cmonnn

Why? I thought if anyone from the team was going to pair up romantically, it would be them. I even saw a deleted scene in season 2 where they're talking about the books they both like, and Reid raises his eyebrows at them and then starts telling Morgan that he's noticed them together, and Morgan says that Emily wouldn't be interested in someone like him and she's too smart to think she could change him (being a player). While I understand people seeing it platonically, I do think there was moments that could be interpreted otherwise, and I think that deleted scene just showed that perhaps some of it was intended that way.

Demonology one with Emily's friends from her teens. The husband was a friend of hers and he died due to an exorcism. She was angry but part of her anger was from events in the past. She came down hard on the wife accused her of basically causing his death. Morgan was trying to get her to stop before she gets into trouble.
