It starts at home, they aren’t in these gangs just for the money, it’s the family. It’s the bond. Get it from home you don’t need it from the streets. We know this in the black community, but is black women can only do so much, and when your male role models are in the life it’s not hard to just follow those footsteps.

I’m also well aware that not all black men choose the life, but am also aware that in inner cities many see it as the only way, and absent fathers are a big contributing factor. I never said my people needed help from anyone. We don’t, we just need to unify against the system and bring ourselves out of the mess we’ve been afforded and this time not let outsiders ruin that for us.
