Since this is a re-enactment, If it was me, After rob I change my head dress, mask, clothes, pants, shoes etc To jogging attire. And jog back instead of taking the public transport. I will not go back home. I cycle around east coast, marina bay sands, CBD Area till 12 midnight. Then proceed home. I wait for 6 month then proceed to use the money. If there's jewellery, I replace it with cash in Malaysia. Stay in malaysia for a day or two then back singapore. I mean to make it more realistic lol. I will not stay one place and worry about getting caught. Lol 🤣

You haven’t watched enough episodes. Police are able to nab suspects even if they change clothes. The CCTVs are everywhere & they’re able to trace your whereabouts even if you change clothes. Cos if u go into a corner then the next minute you emerge from nearby, they’re still able to tell it’s you. From the gait, from the path u take. The other ppl in the surrounding didn’t change clothes so u r the odd one out and they’re still able to identify you. Never underestimate SPF’s determination in trawling through all CCTV footage.

I think the crimewatch cases featured these days are more recent and the suspects were yet to be sentenced. However, in the chinese version, which is aired on tv later than the English one has this robber’s sentence.

maybe still in remand so no sentence given yet. People on Remand can stay there quite long before they get sentenced as long as they don't admit. If they get 10 years and are remanded for 7 then just 3 years remaining and if good behaviour, they get early release as well on case by case basis.

From a different episode where a similar comment came up, someone asked Mediacorp and the response was that the sentences are not shown on KZread/mewatch because it will stay on long term, sometimes even after the person has been released. In the spirit of rehabilitation they've thus edited out the sentences. But the sentences are still visible on the the original airing of the show on Channel 5 (and 8/Vasantham/Suria), so guess you have to actually tune in at the timing to watch...
