The Byzantines would need to own Gumulcine and control Constantinople to stop the ottomans from walking past the fort. Because there's only a 1-province separation from where the Ottomans crossed into Gallipoli and their cores, they can always walk past the fort. If the Byzantines had control of Constantinople, it would stop them from going the other way at Gallipoli, but not stop them from crossing to Kocaeli

Um , i found a strange bug in eu4😂 namely if you scroll through dates in the timeline and choose the 1444 date afterwards... you may get some random cores in places where your chosen nation expands into in the future. For ex i did that randomly and then chose to play as brandenburg, and got core on Stettin and Rügen. Fully ironman save And there is a treaty of religious peace in the HRE, anyone can explain that? 😂

You can toggle off the thing that force you to take less than 50% of an idea type, don't remember where it is but I know I don't have it anymore

Ive come to really hate late game EU4 more than late game CK3 because it feels like you need multiple co-ops to effectively wage war or just pause every single day and meticulously maneuver troops. It’s exhausting and annoying and made worse when you know you can beat the enemy handily, you just don’t have the mental bandwidth to deal with it.

That wasn't really the technique usually referred to as Mongolian/Tuvan throat singing. But there is a different technique called overtone singing (throat singing minus the specific throat-constricted technique) and it wasn't actually a bad example of that!!

I could be wrong laith but I'm pretty occupying works the exact same as hoi4. You don't get any benefit of your occupied land (or minimum?) While the enemy gets some benefit. You'll notice you get some gold income if you occupy enemy goldmine. Or you get bunch of trade power by occupying their TCs.
