It could have been soooo interesting if he gave him time to talk.

What a peophol list of questions - he had so many unfinished stories and the interviewer didn’t give him an opportunity to finish the storey

It was so interesting to hear what Allan had to say when he wasn't interrupted. I remember the Stander Gang and their shenanigans so well. So glad he disassociated himself from the back story, that annoyed me when I watched the movie. How did they turn a "true" story of this gang into a racial issue. So tired of these "woke" people. As for the interviewer!!!! No wonder I haven't watched TV for the last 20 years.

Says he became "a far better person in prison". It's an idle boast made by a lazy man. Blames his bank robbing career on depression. Such a lame excuse. I knew Allan very well indeed and he was a lazy man who couldn’t live within his means. Even after he stopped robbing, he expected friends, family and acquaintances to provide for him. In fact he deliberately nurtured friendships for what he could get out of them. His sense of self entitlement knew no bounds and he always prevailed upon others for help. He would become angry if they didn’t provide what he demanded. For example, he berated his sisters on several occasions for bringing a toothbrush to prison which wasn’t firm enough for his liking; he fell out with friends if they were unable to lend him money. On release from prison he ‘bought’ expensive cars and motorcycles which he never paid off yet somehow managed to keep hold of the vehicles. He couldn’t afford them. He spent most of his time in bed listening to CNN, ‘scolding’ anyone who didn’t share his liberal globalist world view. Always a lazy rogue.
