I was too, just wash it really well. I’d also recommend burning it darker to compensate for what comes off.

Could you use a scorch marker to put the design directly onto your wood if the wood is flat?

Yes, it will work the same, then use the heat gun to heat it up.
Hello, been watching your videos, i cant hear well so can i just ask, how long will the solution last for in a sealed tub? Or is it a one and done tip away and make more ? Thankyou

Great question, I usually keep mine in the little container for about a month. After that it needs to be discarded or it can start to mold. I usually only make about 1/4 cup at a time.
So I tried this with a bamboo spoon and the design bled all over. I am thinking I need natural wood, I guess???? Great video BTW!
