Hi Bethany.. thank you for your tutorial for the Faux Leather Keychains. I tried them and I think the glue gun makes it not smooth and you can feel the glue after its dries. I used the Fabric-Tac Permanent Fabric Adhesive and it came out perfect and you can even fix and tac them together.

I love everything

Super Cute…on the frayed edges I use a lighter and they leave a nice edge.

I was watching this video a few times today ( 1/6/22 ) I and I was having trouble getting a clean cut on my faux leather (from Hobby Lobby). Ordered the deep point blade to hopefully fix that problem. I had trouble getting the hot glue to spread and matching up the 2 ends of my key chain. Since I sew, I thought why not stitch around each end of it to secure it. Plus it will give it a more polished look and last longer. Will try it tomorrow, and will let you know. You could probably incorporate this method with your embroidery machine. Thanks again for your fantastic tutorials.

Hi, I know this may be a little late but I was watching your hobby Lobby haul and I wanted to say I have an idea using your 24" wood round. I got 3 by happy accident and I used them for a cabinet in the corner of the kitchen and lazy Suzan so I can finally get off my knees. (not getting any younger! Lol) I also did a burning into the wood with a scorch marker and put our family monogram then the and est. Date Then stained it, lazy Suzan on that and put polyurethane came out absolutely beautiful... Hope that helps. I'm new to your channel I love your ideas and I'm really inspired. Thank you.

Does it have to be used with the deep point blade?

What is the difference between the vinyl paper and faux leather ?

What is your case that holds the blades?

do you need to seal the keychains? what would you charge for one of these?

Since you place you faux leather upside down on the cutting mat, would you need to mirror the cut as well? Or does the mirror image HTV still fit perfectly? (Just want to make sure mine come out as perfectly as yours!)💗

Great question! Because I only did one iron on design you wouldn’t need to mirror the faux leather because it will fit regardless on one side! I hope that makes sense! So for a one sided iron on keychain, mirror the iron on and not the faux leather. Hope this helps!

Hi Bethany. I've seen you use that precision tip glue gun so many times and it seems like the strings are minimal. Do you think that this particular glue gun cuts down on wispy stringy pieces of glue? Thanks!

Hi Ashley! I don't know that it is the glue, I still get strings! I really try to twist and spin my glue gun once I am done pushing the glue out to break the strings right away...I hope that makes sense!

It’s personal preference and dependent on the design of the keychain. I focus more on the width than the length. :)

Why use Iron on Vinyl (HTV) instead of Permanent Vinyl on the Faux Leather?

Permanent vinyl would come right off so HTV is the better choice and it will last!
