@watchjdtv6881 Yes they sure did. In Tallahassee. If Nate Newton started that game, he must have been blasting holes open for FAMU's running backs. Fox Sports sideline reporter Pam Oliver was a freshman @ FAMU then. I'm sure she was at that game

@GoneBallistik658 Thank you my friend. That was one of the first Collegiate games I've ever watched at any level (FBS, FCS, D-2, D-3 or NAIA) of college football. Along with the USC/ Notre Dame game of '78 when Marcus Allen, Ronnie Lott and the late Charles White we're playing for Southern California. And Joe Montana, Vegas Ferguson and Bob Crable were playing for Notre Dame.

The MEAC needs a championship game. North Carolina Central should have been the team to play FAMU today, they have a better record, better head football coach, better qb, etc. One regular season game should not decide who represents the conference in the celebration bowl. Best record should get in.

@@4thAndGoalSports I respectfully disagree, ( in terms of having the best record ) having played the game of Football and Coached the game it's all about hitting on all cylinders at the right time! In my opinion Howard plays anybody else yesterday besides FAM they Win that game. Also in my opinion the Bison Coaching Staff did a fantastic job, this Rattlers team this year is very good, very solid across the board and their Defense is one of the best if not the best HBCU defense I've seen in quite some time. I would have loved to see how FAM would have fared in this Year's FCS Playoffs. Having a 6-5 record does not mean that you are a bad team, with bad coaching, and this is why the game is played on the field. I am a Floridian and also a Wildcats and Rattlers fan!!! ( I have family ties to both schools ) Note: Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Howard University the 2023 MEAC Champions?

Florida A&M were down by 6 points in the third quarter, so they came back to score more points to beat Howard. We watched FAMU offensive linemen D.J. Lee(69) get ejected from the game for spitting at an opponent. Coach Simmons yelled at him for his actions during the game, so his teammates were not able to calm him down. Yet, FAMU beat Howard for the HBCU national championship. Let’s go Florida A&M!!!🏈🏈🏈

@@jayhendricks67Sometimes Famu is a second half team. So what? It’s about how you finished. We were penalized a bit and touchdowns taking away from us. Howard had the momentum in the first quarter and Famu still came back. We don’t play, we will finish the game.

The onlt reason they go 2 scores were they had short field. Go check the box score. Famu out gained Howard in both rushing and passing. It wasnt even close

they should have HBCU vs Ivy bowl games, because I find it a shame that many of these schools only have 12 games to play football and they def deserve more than just a regular season.

Went to the game. It was a great game. Howard had many chances to capitalized and they didnt... You gotta have some type of passing game, WOW plays to make ish go. This really was a MEAC Championship game. The SWAC don't respect FAMU and BCU... FAMU play like MEAC. LOL

It's been the Celebration Bowl for years since inception. Cricket Wireless is just the major sponsor.

I understand this being a game of people of colour, but I wish it was more like Alternative lifestyles (Gays/Homos whatever, female players and so on. Since white male players are mostly dominant (or used to be as it seems to be dropping, like only Ice Hockey is dominated by Canadian White males for example), it is needed for all types of minories, not just significant ones. PS: idk where Latinos/Hispanics stand but hopefully can be in. Baseball seems to be more their sport like Cricket is for Indian and West Indies.

FAMU had received some crazy penalties and one of them was from the center spitting on a defensive player. ‼️ FAMU pulled it off with a group of thugs with a 1.5 G. P. A. I bet a million dollars during the off season half of the team will be in jail, kicked out and some of them will leave because they believe their talents are better than 1AA. I hate FAMU to the soul. Everything in the house that had any orange or green in it I burned in the fireplace. The FAMU band should be named the Marching 000!!!! FAMU halftime show was like hot garbage 🗑️. The Marching fake 100 has a lot of unorganized movement that can confuse the ones watching. I heard the coach is going to leave for Morehouse to revive their program because they will be moving to the MEAC. FAMU y'all better hope the Vice President don't cut funding to FAMU ‼️
