My son and I have this same bike. A 2020 and 2021. Excellent bike The thing I’ve had to adjust is raise the shifter a bit because when using proper riding boots it sits to low.

Honda CRF150R shifter bolts straight on, with more clearance on the engine case to raise the gear lever for a better ride 👍 plus adds the bling factor with black lever and red folding tip. Great bikes

You’re welcome and yes it makes for a great trail bike, not too fast for the kids to keep up yet fast enough that you can still have fun as an experienced MX rider.

Got the same bike (2023). I’m 6.3 as well(only 165lbs tho). Anyways there’s a company out of Australia “strike seats” they’re the only company I could find with an actual “high” seat foam for this bike. Basically just takes the the downward “swoop” out of the seat, and makes it more flat overall. Just some info if anyone else out there’s looking for a fairly simple way to get some height out of these bikes. Took bout 2 weeks to get here. I wanna say it was around 160usd (including custom seat cover)

Thanks, I’m 6’ 3” also and while this linkage kit increases the ground clearance, it doesn’t help the transition from sitting to standing. I was wondering if anyone made a taller seat kit.

Thanks for the vid! Not a lot of us 200+ guys out making db vids. lol Lookin at buying one and trying to get a read on whether this is the right bike. Getting my son a 110 and want something to ride with him on.

It’s an excellent bike, especially if you are going to be riding along with a lower cc bike. The 250f will lug along or open up and scoot if you want to.

I swapped the rear spring for a bbr one sits higher, stiffer feels way better

Should i trade my 06 yz250f for a 2022 crf250f less powerful but more reliable

Bike would look a lot better with a rear fender with more of an arc and down a couple inches at the end .

I’m doing the same mods. Did you need a longer clutch cable? Or how did you route the cable? Mine seems to be too short.

I used the factory cables. Unfortunately, I no longer have the bike and honestly I do not remember if I had to reroute them or not.

Where did you get the foot pegs? I can’t find any that fit the crf250f
