Just a word of advice, your not supposed to place items directly on the bottom it will ruin the transducers. Always use the basket to clean items.

Thank You 👍 I have been using it all wrong for 39 years then, Lol! My machine at work never came with a basket, I degrease machine parts at least twice a week and never had an issue.

What a difference it makes after seeing that jewelry come out of the ultrasonic cleaner. I’m impressed. I’m thinking of getting one for all the gold and silver jewelry I’ve accumulated over the years.

Awesome machine. Just a quick tip. Always use a basket or container and try not to place things on the transducer walls. This can cause damage and wear to the surround.

That's an impressive looking machine. The dirty water shows beyond any doubt that it removes grit & grime. 😀Ultrasonic cleaning heats water to the mid 100's F. It'd be interesting to see with an IR thermometer if the temp setting has any effect, at all, or if it's there just for show. But since the cleaner plugs into US power there's surely a button sequence to set to Fahrenheit. My other suggestion is to afterward, run cleaned items under tap water to rinse off any remaining chemical solution. 😁

My dad used to toss ice in the ultrasonic cleaner with his crusty beach items and it removed all the sandy material. For greasy items then use the higher temps. I will try to remember to rinse. Thank You 👍

Is there a way to set up the temperature on these to a certain degree, (let's say 35C), where the machine does "not" pass that particular temp? I have the same model, the little blue light will go off, but the "actual temperature" keeps on rising. Thanks a lot for posting this vid!

I am no expert on this model, I know it works great for what I use it for and I did not experience temperature fluctuations. Creworks has a good customer services so I would suggest reaching out to them. Thank You!

Ocean crust removal works better when really cold, my dad would put ice in with it. The Heater works great on greasy items, so I do occasional use it hot especially if trying to remove tar off of an item. Thank You 👍

I just received the 10l model with the dials instead of the buttons. I have never used any of these before, can I just use water ( distilled)?

  • @funwithjim

I use filtered water, distilled is ideal. You do not want much chlorine in the water is the key.

That is typical for most all ultrasonic cleaners because if the tank was removeable then it would vibrate during the ultrasonic cleaning causing more vibration dampening. Even my large one at work for tools and parts will not remove and we only clean out that tank when we change out degreaser.
