In September 2021, we took an unforgettable and impressive excursion to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world: Elafonisi. This video shows a day trip by bus from the Creta Princess Hotel. The excursion took place in 3 stages:
1. Visit the Hagia Sophia cave, located in the picturesque Topolia Gorge. To access the cave, you have to climb a small path with stone steps on a drop of 80 meters.
2. Stop at the famous Elafonisi beach: a magnificent natural wonder. We found a beautiful cove with turquoise waters. We had a few hours to enjoy swimming and sunbathing on the pink sand beach. 3.
Return to the hotel. Along the way, a one hour stop was planned in a small typical Elos village with many taverns to taste the local Cretan cuisine. We tried really good Greek coffee in an incredibly beautiful location.
The trip was made during our vacation at Creta Princess Hotel Aquapark & ​​Spa, located 30 minutes from Chania (Chania) and 30 minutes from the famous Balos beach.
We had a great day in a unique place and in the evening we returned to our wonderful hotel happy and tired.
