Literally every modern reptile sale is shipped YALL LITERALLY SO DRAMATIC ITS FINE

People need to seriously calm down about the shipping thing. Most reptiles are shipped in boxes nowadays. It's fine.

@@tate1596 ahh yes, lets give all those complaints to the buyers instead of the sellers without giving any reliable alternative or even considering the fact this is about the only way to get a quality reptile of your desired breed and not have to travel hundreds of miles for it. Also love the metaphor on the whole killing dog points, thats like me boiling an egg instead of making an omelette because "lobsters are boiled everyday" and that is not ok! Some things are needed. Atleast he took it upon himself to take in an animal that needs care, yes shipping isnt perfect but it beats the hell out of not having an owner that helps him or her thrive, which this guy clearly does. If you just critisize for the sake of critisizing you're not adding value to anything, you're just being a bother. And don't try to justify yourself as someone who "does it for the animals" when this is legit the best option most have for a great life. Yikes.

You should breed that crested gecko to a whited colored one, having a tricolor pinstripe harlequin would look amazing!

To anyone worried about shipping animals via mail. The whole shipping process is different when mailing live animals and typically take place overnight in either heated or even air conditioned boxes if need be!

I'm so used to seeing "frog butts" that when they have tail it's weird to me.

Everyone's stressing over the box? If it wasn't humane then they wouldn't do it and I'm almost certain they know more about the animals than you so calm down. Shipping animals in small spaces is less stressful and more convenient, a huge amount of space puts them at more risk of injury during shipping :/

Jessi Dee Jessi Dee that's not a true statement. People do some pretty inhuman things to animals. For ex. Puppy mills, wool factory's or any factory in which animals are needed. Crested geckos like to be high, they love to climb and it stresses them out when they are not doing so, that's why he is fired up. Being fired up from stress too much can be harmful to the gecko

​@@shellywheeler1860 actually it is very dark in the box and when it is dark they do like to settle down and sleep and when they are sleeping they do not notice when they are high up and yes crested geckos are said to be nocturnal but really they are only up in the morning and the evening but are asleep during the day and night and they are normally sent during the night so they are asleep so they are perfectly fine

For everyone complaining about animals being shipped: 1- How do you think they get to your local pet stores? Honestly, I'm genuinely asking how you think they receive them. 2- I'm not saying all pet stores are guilty of this, there are good ones out there. However, a majority buy their animals from breeders looking to make a quick buck. Most are neglected animals and you're only seeing the best out of the litter, and even then at times it not much to look at. Bad genetics, bad animal care can ruin animals lives. It is and always will be well worth the time, effort and money on finding reputable breeders. It is hypocrisy calling someone lazy after having a quality animal shipped to them personally, especially after doing all that countless searching for the right pet for themselves, than it is simply going to the pet store and making your selection there. Please have all the facts before spewing hate and garbage. Lets do better.

I'm not for shipping, but I'm not entirely against it. It's not like they're just shipping recklessly. They are very cautious and seem very much like they know what they're doing. And it's only there for one day whereas petco and petsmart have their geckos all packed into a small tank for weeks. There are risks to shipping an animal as well. Faulty heat pack and whatnot. Either way, it's a choice I guess.

Honestly if there's none for adoption and no local pet stores carry them I would recommend buying online as it's easier and cheaper to support and buy them from chain pet stores like petco but they're animals are kept in terrible conditions. Or also expos are a great choice but those are obviously not everywhere and only happen a couple times a year if you're lucky.

Kapurtakis Exotics I would first setout a price range that you feel comfortable with and checkout other places like, Pangea reptile, tikis geckos, and Apollo’s geckos, but you can always just go to your reptile expo near you.

Why is everyone complaining abiut the shipping? I bought all my aquariumstuff,plants, shrimps and snails online and my friend bought a tarantula that way too and everything is verry good! The shops know how to handle them and since they dont ship for longer than 3 days its ok for the pets, i swear. Beautifull gecko tho! Verry cute!

syan moore A 10 gallon is a little small for two adult Cresties, I would recommend at least a 30 gallon high for two. The only thing is... you cannot keep males together and if you don't plan on breeding then i would get two guaranteed females

syan moore you can not keep two males together, and I don't know if a ten gallon tank is big enough for two, but it is for one. (Make sure to tip the tank on its side so that it is tall)

I have a juvenile pin stripe creasted gecko named jack

I mean they should have the box a bit bigger for them to move and turn around in. Looks very claustrophobic, but other then that I think everything is gucci

So it's an extreme harlequin pinstripe het for dalmation. Sheesh that is a lot of morphs

fb maybe you shouldn't get one then because they need the nutrients from crickets you can get Pangea with dried out crickets in it you don't have to deal with the bugs just put it in a crested gecko food bowl if your getting one please do watch let's talk about crested geckos on KZread made by the KZread Chanel Taylor Nicole dean before you do get one if you do

Jude Mingo They are shipped over night. and they are shipped in a way that they could live in their for their whole life if they had their thing cleaned and food and such. (but that would be cruel to keep it in the container during captivity
