Another dupe is Avene Cicafilate Restorative Protective cream, it has prebiotics rather than the sea algae but its said to do a similar function. Might be worth a try.

I agree very similar consistency and ultra absorbing with a pearly finish but no delicious fragrance …

My only issue is Nivea has fragrance where I am

I do love la mer. Wish I didn’t. But I do. I have eczema prone skin and it’s great for bad skin days.

La Mer smells beyond this world great.....amazing. Would buy it just for the *smell* tbh ......tried it..... it's OK....

I used clean lotions like CeraVe PM and was very happy but when i tried la mer it made all my sebaceous filaments go away and shrunk my pores completely I could not believe it.. and overall my skin just looks and feels better I’m in love

La mer has active ingredients while Nivea is only moisturiser. Sadly I use the same moisturisers as you and your holly grail Sunday Riley Ice is my holly grail as well so I’m dying to try La mer now. ❤

well, if it helps, Sunday Riley and La Mer are very different. I still absolutely love SR Ice and I don't think I'd ever stop using that one as my morning cream, it's the best. If I do ever get a small container of La Mer I would only ever use it at night I think. If you can get a free sample of La Mer, try it and see how you feel. You might dislike it who knows!

Try the Elemis pro collagen marine cream. I got a full size in my Allure box. It has a nice texture, not heavy, and a nice light scent.

I also got a 7ml sample. First I was not impressed,then I started to like it and after a while it started to break me out. I have normal/combo skin perhaps the original la mer is just not for me. I much more prefer my skincare program from Giorgio Armani Beauty as a whole (packaging, scent, efficiency etc) but iyt has its price tag too. So ultimately it comes down to the budget and preferences.
