Minnesota’s outsides can’t pass and play bad defense. And then without a good libero and ds with the departure of Murr. I expect next season to mirror similar results as this year. Maybe even worse now that Murr is gone.

Their setter has been very good for her entire career.

Unfortunately, the coach has changed everything this team was doing under Hugh. Imnot sure they can mesh next year

Landfair should be benched or have a DS play for her backrow. How can you be an all around player when she can’t pass and defend!!! She is also too soft!! She’s probably great in practices, but not when it comes to the real games!! She probably relies too much on her height!!

I totally agree! I feel like she is so lazy when she goes to spike the ball. She is definitely not an all round player. Has potential but doesn't show that full potential at all.

I often wonder what her development would be like in a different program. I was a lazy looking player too lol, but I’ve definitely seen her be more aggressive in past seasons when they pushed the tempo with her. She can def do it. This year the coaching at minesota I think put Minesota back a bit. Love this team and they had some good pieces this year. Route from them every year

Landfair is the kindest soul!! Listen to any interview. She really doesnt have that killer competetive energy of some hitters. Maybe she should try harnessing this lol!!!

⁠​⁠@@mohinderreece this was something I noticed as well after Cook took over. She’s playing more tentative than her past seasons under Hugh. Even as a freshman/sophomore, she would take huge rips and play more aggressive. She was scary good last year but now it seems like the new coaching staff has made her regressed.

@@rollos3909 she was a beast last year. So good I saw minesota upsetting some teams that made the finals if they just clicked all at the same time. She is one player just would love to see have longevity and make it at the national level. It’s almost like they broke for a while. It seemed like Cook was investing more in Wecker this season and just had Landfair as second fiddle. I was like what is going on right now. Also minesota needs to recruit middles or get the connection going. It’s def a missing part of their game in terms of the offense
