    I really appreciate the compliments my man! 👌🤙😁 Glad you guys are enjoying my stuff….. it’s been fairly brutally warm this past month here in PA so I’m starting to hinge more into scouting for a nice buck for bow season than fishing & busting out a bit of my archived footage from a cpl/few back that I haven’t posted yet! Tight Lines & best of luck to you gentlemen in your future endeavors 👌🤙😁🎣

    Hey, nice video as always! What do you usually do when you hook a fish too deep and they have an arterial bleeding? In my experience its pretty much their death sentence, so i usually dont release them. Greetings from Germany

  • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620

    @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620

    2 ай бұрын

    Thank you very kindly! Well unfortunately that is definitely part of fishing, you can’t control how deep they take it…..🥴🤷‍♂️ I pretty much release them every time when bleeding though because I use barbless hooks & even if they bleed I’ll still release them……although if I happen to see one roll over and it’s dying then I will keep them 🥴 but other than that I release them every time because honestly I’ve caught some the following year after they have bled kind of bad and they still survived! It’s a topic that a lot of fishermen don’t like talking about but it’s part of it 🥴🤷‍♂️

    What percentage of these spots are on public vs private land? Just curious as I'm looking for spots, it seems like it's hard to get off the beaten path without running into posted streams. I'm in York Co for reference.

  • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620

    @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620

    The large percentage of the fish I catch are on non-posted ground. However, every year there is becoming more and more posted ground, but most just post it for hunting purposes. If you ask the landowners permission, they typically allow it for fishing.👌🤙

    Appreciate the reply and the videos. Super helpful for me as I’m new to trout fishing and it’s difficult to find local resources. Would you be willing to share more about your process for finding spots? Do you look for known class a waters and then drive it/hike it and look for access?

    @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620

    Appreciate it bud…..👌🤙😁 For me, it is 100% better…… if you fish down stream in the streams that I do you will spook 90% of the fish before you get to them rendering them uncatchable …… basically two things, #1. fish always face upstream unless they are in a flat hole with hardly any flow, You might see one facing the other direction….. otherwise approaching them from downstream, casting upstream, you will likely spook far less fish. and #2 your sediment that you kick up making the water dirty is always going to flow down stream which will likely spook most fish also! 👌
