WOW! It's not the quantity but the quality of finds! That was a good hunt. Yeah , some people don't remember that you could get a deposit back on soda bottles. That's how I used to get candy! Walking ditches you could find money.

Great time after a rain ! Surprised to hear you comment about NY and people thinking that 80’s bottle was old ? Grew up in NY & did a bunch of great digging there , plenty of old stuff available , that’s where I caught the bug for bottles in 1973 😉 thanx for the video

I remember those bottles with the piece of Styrofoam that used to wrap around the bottle and you could tear it off section at a time and you're right, they made those particular bottles through the 1980s. Good old 1980s where the best times of my life.

Your right they are new compared to what you guys dig up, but what I whould have to say time's where good for me being 20 yrs old in 1987and life was much simpler back then, so when I saw that bottle with that styrofoam wrap around it, certainly bring back some memories. Thanks for sharing your input.

Maybe, if it not to late, you’ll just have to keep the camera pointed to the ground, or creek and let be like that. When anyone would ask me while I was metal detecting, I had two deep pockets and four other pockets. I’d reach down into the garbage pocket and pullout burnt foil, bottle tops, those openers on aluminum cans, beat up penny’s and say welp that’s about it. Good days are far and few. 🤣 👍🏻

Hello I’ve just found your videos and they are very interesting I particularly like hearing about drink brands I’ve never heard of before, It must be so relaxing just wandering along in the water with nature all around you there were bird calls I’d never heard before I wish I could identify and see them, I’m in the U.K. and you can’t throw a stone here without hitting something really old it’s a bit like living in an open air museum lol!, You might like a channel that I subscribe to it’s by a lady called Nicola White and she’s what we call a Mudlark she searches the banks of the River Thames in London and always finds something cool basically everything from prehistoric fossils to Roman and Victorian things including bottles at times too if you haven’t found her yet I can recommend watching her videos even if it’s just to relax with a cold drink while watching her, Her favourite thing to find are clay pipes dating from the Elizabethan era right through to Victorian times she finds a lot of them of different designs so pop along and see what you think, BTW I really liked that flask it’s very much of it’s time I think it’d look great on my kitchen cupboard lol!, Anyway happy hunting from an old Brit.

Your not going to find it all even if your the only one who knows about the dig site. You will find what you were meant to find. That's why when I invite people to my dig site I let them keep what they find even if it is something I have been looking for...I just ask to see it before it goes. If I invited people for a privy dig I'd let them keep what they found at their turn. I'm not saying your wrong I'm saying I don't hoard my sites. Prob half of your blood cats don't know how to find sites. Your helping them learn. Isn't that the point of your videos...learning?

Kevin If I invite someone to dig with me they keep what they find but thats not the point haha! I havent invited the people that I am talking about. I do like to educate but the reason I do that is so that the viewers can find their own locations.
