Creed is still one of my favorites. With Open Arms has been played at more than one funeral, please react to that one.

Concept was a old man going back thru memories in his mind a journey unto ourselves! Some memories are clear some not! Scott Stapp lead singer was religious but they were never a Christian band Scott just wrote from his life and questioned what his faith meant to him and he does believe in God! The video is about connecting with yourself and God being with you sets you free and sometime we save ourselves or reconnect with ourselves thru our life! Got to do My Own Prison, Torn, Arms Wide Open, One, What This Life For, One Last Breath is a must and Higher! Faceless Man is a masterpiece in my view! Also Weathered, Unforgiven, Are You Ready! My Sacrifice is perfect to start with but gotta do My Own Prison! So appreciate you doing my favorite band Creed, thank you👏👏👏🥰 Yes, they aren’t together right now Scott had issues with addiction and they broke and got together again and broke up but here in 2020 they are all good with each other, Scott has now 6 years under his belt with sobriety he plays Creed and his solo music on tour and Mark, Scott P and Bryan along with Myles Kennedy have Alter Bridge and Mark T has solo work too! But there is a lot of fan’s that would buy a new album and tickets if they went on tour! Sorry that was long but info helps! I used to see them way back at The Musical Moon, Tally. Even though they sing religious type songs, They are not a Christian band. Scott Stapp's Dad told him in High School he would only pay for him to attend Cavid Lipscomb College which is an ALL religious College. He soon quit & His family completely cut him off. He moved to Tallahassee,FL (he heard back in the day Jim Morrison had gone there to write). Put together Creed, found their Manager then they were designed their deal.❤❤❤❤❤MORE CREED!!!!!!

steve2653 thats usually the case.. they get many many takes to get it right in the studio. And they kinda caught lightning in a bottle when they recorded it. They just don’t have an official video since it wasn’t a single, and the live performances really show off the inhuman level of mastery they have over their craft. But yes, the recorded version is simply amazing

My own prison by creed. They came out when rock was not going very strong. Whole album is powerful

If you decide to check out more Creed in your off screen time, Human Clay is a good all around album to go through and My Own Prison has some solid tracks as well.

Damn Creed, that takes me back to my youth lol love it, Gotta get to Sepultura "Dead Embryonic Cells" a must for all drum enthusiasts

When creed broke up in 2003 Guitarist Mark Tremonti (just voted guitarist of the decade by Guitar World Magazine) drummer Scott Phillips and bass player Brian Marshall teamed up with vocalist Myles Kennedy and created Alter Bridge they're absolutely incredible! Just released their 6th studio album back in October! You seriously have to check them out! Start with their song Blackbird live in Amsterdam and youll be hooked! Out of all 6 albums im dead serious they dont have a single bad song. Then you'll have to check out Words Darker than their Wings live at the Royal Albert Hall ft the Parallex Orchestra. You'll seriously be blown away man!

This one is great in-car.. Once upon a time Creed were larger than life.

Creed gets alot of flack but my own prison is a dope track

First of all great work as usual my friend. If you want to react to something really neat by Creed watch their practice session of “What If” right before a concert. It’s super awesome to see it and they’re incredible. Mark Tremonti, the lead guitar player, was the souls behind Creed and now Alter Bridge. He’s one of the best out there.

Singer's father was a Pastor. Scott Stapp used to go to UTC, Chattanooga. He was kind of a pothead and if I'm not mistaken, got kicked out of that college. They do have a religious undertone, maybe started out religious but ultimately went secular! Due to ego and drug problems, along with some personal issues he was either let go or left the band. Creed became Alterbridge with Miles Kennedy as front man. Check out the song "Watch Over You!" Rips one's guts out its so pretty!

Creed is NOT a religious band.Scott Stspp was brought up in a strictly religious family, in fact after HS Graduation he had s number of BIG school acceptances but he's Dad would only allow/pay for him to go to David Lipscomb College, which is strictly religious. He ended up quitting, family cut him off financially and he came to Tallahase (Jim Morrison had gone there to write, etc. He gather Creed and started playing at this live band forum "The Musical Moon". Soon they had a local Manager and was signed a deal. Scott writes what he knows and was brought up with knowing. TO THE HATERS ABOUT HIS VOICE..HE'S A BARITONE, HE'S SHREEDED HE'S VOICE ON THOSE HIGH NOTES! I LOVE & MISS THEM ALL TOGETHER...COME AT ME BRO..😁🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤ #LFRFamily

Yes they was a religious band. And still are. Scott Stapp broke off and started drinking and ended up losing everything that he had. He was the lead singer do research on him and see what you think. But we all do crazy things we all make bad choices in life. I just thank God that our Lord and savior forgave him and brought him back home

I know what I overcame , still gettin though with help of brother and daughter and friends without them I'd be in real trouble . And thank you for responding with kindness. The issue with Creed is the lead singer did raw things at his concerts , if I dont say you wont you uderstand . He urinated off the stage on fans from being drunk , then after that he dissapeared for along time. Sorry felt bad just saying that to you. Hey Van. Creed did sell millions of albums in their day, however IMO i liked their music but couldnt get into the singer. IMO he had very little or no range, he sang all the songs i ever heard in the same monotone no power in this boring normal tone. He cant belt anything out and maybe hits 2 low range keys, just not good enough IMO to sing for musicians this good. Check out the band in their NEWER form Alter Bridge - Coeur D' Alene or Metalingus or Isolation or Fallout or Waters Rising or Words darker than their Wings live with the paralux orchestra if you want to hear great music, vocal harmonies, two lead singers that are awesome and one of the best notes I've ever heard on a live recording.. not that i like Alter Bridge or anything
