Just about anything but insects I like the most. I like to use a reverse lens ring but you need a lens with a manual aperture ring on the lens.

You have a new subscriber from Edmonton. I had to scroll through the comments just to see if anyone made comments about our funny money but sadly no. Keep up the good work. I’m jumping on the macro band wagon while stuck at home and Amazon is loving me I have built a whole home studio but I miss being outside I am a wildlife and landscape photographer with equine portraits. Be safe and hope we all as Canadians stay our course and make it through COVID-19. Again thanks for the tips and keep shooting land making amazing photos. 🏉🇨🇦🇺🇸. To all our American neighbours be safe and I hope you get through the bad times as well. As for leaders with last names starting with a T I am sure glad we have ours keeping us safe.

I really enjoyed your "macro subjects" video. I watched twice but still could not figure out how you got the beautiful color swirls in your soap shots. were they backlit with colored gels?? please do tell.,

Hello Friend. Good ideas and good photos.

For the bubble pictures 2 parts bubble mix and one part glicerine... Helps the bubbles stay longer so you don't have to keep reblowing them 😂

Do you crop in like crazy? Because I fool around with Canon 100mm on APS-C, but I don't think I can get that close to fill the frame with fly..

I crop sometimes or use crop mode on my a73.. I'm a freak for sharpness so not usually that much.

Buy a 12$ adapter from Amazon that allows you to mount your lens on your camera backwards, and presto, you have a macro lens!

That is very cheap, think of it this way that is Canadian dollars and if your American that is like $20 US dollars.
