I'm wondering how will the customer take the bed apart to move it? I also noticed that only a few of the pieces were glued before you put them together. Will the bed hold up for years to come?

Easy. You just lift up the two panels that just sit on top of the cross slats. Then just lift up each of the cross slats. All of that just sits in place. Then the two side rails are mounted to the headboard and foot board by the metal angle brackets with screws. Remove the screws and the side rails detach from the headboard and footboard. Then you can move everything in pieces. Headboard, footboard, two side rails, the two mattress platforms and the individual cross slats. Then you just put it back together again. The parts glued are the pieces that make up the headboard and footboard. That thing will last for 300 years.
