Buying a cooling vest was on of the best investments I’ve did as far as moto gear. Using a cooling vest on my moto trips (even day trips) has been a game changer ! I truly recommend it and make sure you also use a wet neck gaiter. Cheers 🍻

Oh my...the fires are such a shame...so sad to hear of folks losing their homes...we did spend some time in Kelowna with a friend...lots of folks evacuated and the smoke was pretty bad. Glad to hear that some folks have been able to return home. You sure do live in a beautiful country, Tom! 💜🤗

@@PurpleOnThree yes, the trunk is secure, it seems it is an ongoing problem with this particular bike. But, it won’t throw a code, or put it on the Limp Mode, according to the can am service department. But all is good, and when some of this Smoke clears out, I will be back on the road! Stay Safe!!

You know, when they are dry, they hardly take up any space at all. We have used them several times on our trip. Not today though...cold rain, lol

I would’ve never thought to put them in a lake to replenish them. The water seemed pretty clean and clear too…which is a huge ++

Well I never would have thought wearing a padded vest would keep you cool, surely a battery powered cool box would keep everything in it chilled. I bought a mesh suit and it's great but then in Scotland we don't get temps as high as 100°f 😰

The vests have these little sections made of cellulose that hold the water and then the air going across cools as it dries the vests. When dry, the vests are extremely light weight. We have used them in temps up to 108 degrees F. They really do help a lot! I know there are other vests out there too.

I need to look into that. Pretty cool!!!

Just want to say that these evaporative ones work best in dry heat...I've tried in more humid conditions and while they do help, they don't work as well! 🤗💜

That’s something we do here if I don’t have my mesh jacket on!!! And people think we only have snow!!! If you don’t swim to cool off the body temp then you just go get icecream!

I am so sorry to hear of how hot it has been for you...I am not sure this type of vest is the answer for you because of the dang humidity....I have used it in humid conditions and it doesn't work as well. Ryker Rides did a review I think on some other type of vest...I didn't watch the video, but you may want to check it out. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
