Creating a lathe tool handle is a quick and simple project for any skill level. Cutting tools can be bought or made from scrap metal and are easy to install. I bought a carbide tipped cutter and needed a permanant handle for it. Size and shape are up to the creator, but be sure to place a piece of metal pipe where the tool shaft inserts to the handle to prevent tool explosion.
