It also depends on if multiplayer map or not, multiplayer disables custom start bonuses, one of which is what causes the refund bonus instead of cost

If I recall correctly, it depends on the type of disease. Bacteria refund you for devolving, but Viruses mutate rapidly and get more and more expensive to devolve as time passes.

The limit is something like at most 1% infection spread per infected without lvl 1 and 5% spread max without lvl 2

I cant believe Jerome doesn't understand that genetic reshuffle works best above 50%

A good tip for players who haven’t memorized the symptoms (anyone who doesn’t play mega brutal for a relaxing experience) they are actually categorized by effects, the left symptoms give a lot of severity but slow the cure and cause chaos among the population, the middle is where all the lethality is, and the right is where all the infective symptoms are (aside from the first 6 available on all sides) the infective symptoms are also a noob trap as if you have any symptoms at all you are guaranteed detection before your first billion infected

While that sounds like a great idea, I can’t think of a single situation where vamp doesn’t win except if Steve is simian since you start the game being detected as it, and are automatically considered worth curing due to the backstory
