Great video, very well made and informative. A short reminder for those who use "Due date" as means to end the subsmissions for the created quiz. This will not stop the submission process, the platform will still receive submissions to the quiz after the due date and the people in the classroom that submitted after the due date will be marked as "done late". To stop the submission process you have to manually switch "accepting responses" to off in the form design interface.

This is an excellent tutorial. I do want to add one more thing. Unless you make this as a quiz by adjusting the settings at the top right side, you will not know which student has submitted which quiz. I would also set it so that the email address of students are provided.

Thank you for this video. Great content as usual. Just a point for teachers to be aware of. When a deadline is set, the default time is midnight, and students will get a notification on their phone or tablet at this time. So that this does not disturb them at this time, I always set the deadline time to 6pm.

Thank you for this! What I'd like more information on is how to make the quiz secure, especially when I release the scores. I'd like the students to know which question numbers they got wrong, but not be able to see the questions or answers, until I go over them in class. (This is so I don't have to write multiple copies of each quiz to accommodate students who are absent, in quarantine, etc.). I'm not seeing a way to do that, though.

That would be beneficial for the students to see why their answer was correct or incorrect as immediate corrective feedback is necessary for students to improve their learning. I also was unaware of "go to section based option." This would be a wonderful way to meet the variety of students' needs in the classroom. Does the quiz you created in Google Classroom automatically get saved to your Google Drive? If so, where will the quiz be located? Thank you again!

can we set the quiz availability for a particular period of time, say, sept 21, 2020, 7:00 am to 8:30 am only. In that case after the period the quiz will no longer available online. so that no other students from other classes could view it.

I'm having trouble. When I assign a quiz, my "students" (I'm using a separate iPad with a dummy student account set up) have to request access to open it. Once I have grated access, when the "student" opens the form, it opens it in editing mode, so they have access to edit the quiz, not answer the questions. The only way I've found to make it work the way I want is to put the shareable link in the assignment instead. I feel like I'm missing a crucial step.

Great video. I would like to create a quiz in advance, but I do not want to schedule it yet. I saw "Save a draft" under the drop-down menu of "Assign," "Schedule," or "Save a draft." Is there a way I can create it in advance, as I would any other assignment, and post it when I am ready?

Thank you very much for this great video, actually I have a problem with google form, I am a teacher when I make a formal quiz I don't want to limit the number of responses but the most important thing is to set the form such that it will submit automatically at a certain time otherwise many students will get zero as they don't submit on time Is there any add on that can help with this situation?

Thanks! Great video! I still need help!! I created a Vocabulary Quiz for my students and the words are numbered. When my students tried to answer #8 they got a message "Must be a number in red" I don't understand this. My students were forced to make a google doc to send the remaining answers? Should I have used the Quiz form given in GC, and if I do, is the correct answer visible to the student? How do I copy the information I have to the Quiz form given???
