I can't wait to get them in the ground so I can check on them multiple times a day and get excited about the most miniscule growth lol

Thanks! I'm super excited about it! I'm definitely going to keep uploading thrifting content and 1000% will be uploading halloween content, but I just needed a break from thrifting. It was getting to the point where it wasn't fun anymore. I appreciate all the people who stick around no matter what I'm uploading. I'm hoping to find some more moody colored flowers too. My son is very energetic 😅

Finally the weather is better and a great time to be outside and work in the garden. I’m working on my herd and vegetable garden right now. Looking forward to what it will look like when your done. Black plants can be pricey but they really look amazing. I used to have a plant called black Mondo grass in several areas in large pots. They looked awesome. Don’t work so hard moving those cinder blocks or blocks or cement blocks???😂 cinder blocks is what I call them too. Have a great week…keep your eyes on the road.

Do they sell the Mondo grass in stores? That would look so awesome. I thought about doing another vegetable garden, but I have so many other things I want to do to the yard. And yup, concrete blocks is apparently what they are according to that video I watched lol. But apparently they haven't had "cinder" in blocks since the 1940s, but I didn't do any research so maybe I should so I can know what I'm talking about lol.

ideas for a Gothic Garden: Purple Coneflowers, Bee Balm Berry Red herb, Creeping Thyme (purplish grown cover) Foxglove in purple, False indigo red and purple its in the lupine family, Aquilegia Clementine in red, Salvia's Sage in purple, Heuchera (Coral Bells) Red color, Black nigra Hollyhock, Sunflower Chocolate its red and black, Night Rider Lily its a black lily, Tulip Black Parrot or Queen of the Night. They are a purplish black tulip. For an annual a Black or red petunia. A lot of these are pretty easy to grow and you could get start ups from other peoples gardens or get from a nursery. Some of these are toxic to cats and you will have to make sure to also watch your son till he is of age not to eat flowers ( I would not plant Foxgoves till old enough to understand) Some of the tulip bulbs you might have to order from a catalog. I've seen black petunias at nurseries and sometimes at places like Lowe's or Walmarts Garden centers.

I've seen some seeds for cone flowers in the store but they've all been mixed colors, I don't think I've seen any purple ones.

For older bulbs I have put them in root enzyme solution to get fresh root growth before planting. Hosta's, and bleading hearts do need shade or partial shade don't put them in full sun unless they are shaded by a house, tree, or bush for part of the day.

The bleeding hearts should be okay for where I want to put them, they will be in shaded for part of the day ☺️

Ants pollinate the peonies so you want ants by them .
