Creating My LUSH GARDEN BALCONY Oasis on a Budget (Renter Friendly)

Disclaimer: This is just for fun, I'm not a professional designer but would like to share what I learned from KZread when it comes to designing a space and how I applied it in this balcony makeover...nothing fancy but lush, chilled and put together :)
I mentioned the channel called OnlyPlants if you want a truly educational videos on plants. My dear friend, Sean, runs a great and very informative channel on plants. I love how your balcony turned out! So lush and cozy. Perfect for reading a book or just chilling out. Also we have the same plant, the Caladium Lindenii Madison/Magnificum 🌱🌿

If you want to repel mosquitos, use citronella grass instead. I’ve made the same mistake buying citronella plants. Also anything that has a lemon scent such as lemon grass, lemon balm (herb) and lemon thyme (more herbs). You can put them all together in one pot!

As you cultivate more plant knowledge it will be easier to add color, I personally like mixing in "aurea" or golden leaved plants, I have a Philodendron/Thaumatophyllum xanadu aurea that is quite the statement piece. I also have a Spathiphyllum "viscount gold" that is easy to drop in to add a bit of color interest. You can add some colorful Philodendrons like "prince of orange" too, if they are available there, you don't have to just think flowers for color.

I was silly not to see the signs when I was able to adjust it lol! but glad it happened before any real damage! I just checked what you mentioned and oooh love the look of the Ti plant!
