Ten points: 0:15 Spend lots of time on concept formation. 3:29 Tell students effective methods to make concepts easier to handle. 5:33 Do not say 'it is difficult'. Say 'it needs more practice'. 7:55 Make your subject a joy to learn because mathematics is full of unusual tricks. 12:29 Ensure students do not resort to 'eat and vomit' strategy while studying mathematics. 13:30 Help them with mnemonics remembering the formulae. 14:30 Identify types of errors conceptual and procedural. Provide remedies. 18:52 Help them with shortcuts to carry out the calculations. 21:48 Always remember it's you who will make the subject easy or difficult. 22:48 Always focus on slow learners.
