@@kathleen_rietz_artist I dont know either you make it look easy or not but it is easy...well I am also a fine artist and have done graduation in it...paintings without human or animals are much easier, this point I am saying.

That's your viewpoint at your age and whatever experience you have in your life.. I noticed your channel has no content. Most people flippantly assume abstract will be easy... until they try it. I have students who struggle with rendering abstracts because their brains are conditioned to see something concrete and paint it - a barn or a landscape or a bird. I find representational work you speak of easier because I am painting a "thing". I actually excelled at it for years when I painted beautiful watercolor florals and still life and drew still life and pet portraits.. It was satisfying, but I turned to abstract after my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and I needed an outlet for my emotions. When it comes to abstract, I am painting a feeling or a color or a vibration. I am working through thoughts and emotions. I am not concerned with representing a human or animal. I've been there and done that. Much of my work has a floral feel to it, even if it is abstract, because that is where my heart lies...in the memories of gardens of my youth. Flowers transcend barriers of language and culture and give people joy. Colors, shapes and texture are my way of communicating. Not rigid renderings of people or animals. That's fine, but anyone can learn the skills to render. Not everyone can reach into the depth of their soul, pull out what lies there and express it freely on canvas. Maybe someday you will understand that for yourself. @@anubhavbhaskar2930
