Creating an Ephemera Folio by the Bumbling Crafter! :-)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Creating a folio to store my labels, small ephemera, trims and such inspired by Rachel at Roxy Creations. This was a rough one folks...it didn't go as smoothly as I'd have liked, but in the end I have a place for all my goodies. Thanks for taking a look!

Just watched this video today. (After watching you for years) I love your sense of humor and keeping it real as you share your wonderful crafting.
It’s 5 years later and I still love this video. She is such a riot! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
I'm watching for the first time and I was in stitches!🤣😅🤣
Once again you're killing me. I was shouting to peel the paper off the carpet tape but I guess you couldn't hear me. I'll shout louder next time. It really turned out beautiful despite the bumbles. No worries there.

I just logged in to say the exact thing: She's killin' me! :D I mean this in the best way - so much fun and creativity.
This will go down in history as a “classic”!!!!!! Such fun. You brighten everyone’s day up. TFS. 😻x
Haha. I loved your comment about the accents. I’m from the Midwest but I’ve been binge watching videos the past couple weeks so now I think and talk to myself with a cross between a British and Aussie accent!
You are just what I needed tonight. I’m laughing and my husband is giving me the side eye. Lol. I love watching you.
You are hilarious! I had such fun watching you make the folio. I finished one this morning to organize all my Tim Holtz stuff. What a great idea. Now, off to make another. Such fun! Thank you for sharing and for your humor. You make the day a little bit brighter!
Gayle I just love you. You crack me up. Thank you for not editing out your bumbles.
Of course we will be watching! We bumble through all the time 😂 it's nice to be reminded that it's not just me, but even the best can bumble through and still laugh at themselves. Thank you! For the bumbling!!! 😍😘🤗
Your craft session reminded me of mine on Sunday. I have made a traveller's notebook for my daughter and needed to sew in the signature. First the thread broke. Found some that was stronger. Then the needle broke. Replaced it with another. Had a coffee! Sewed the signature. Hurray!! Opened the book and found I'd stitched the cover on upsidedown. More coffee AND chocolate. Purely for medicinal purposes! Finally succeeded and she loves it. Definitely a day like yours Gayle.😁
Your laughter is wonderful... I'm thinking of doing a marathon watch of your channel!

You are so fun to watch and learn from and everything you create is amazing! Thank you for sharing and hugs to you! ❤️
I'm so glad to be able to watch all your video's. I'm smiling and learning! If you ever have bad glued paper again, you can try to put the whole thing in the microwave. I did that with my cooking book wich was wet. It stayed wet and all pages were lose. Thats how I found out. Thank you for sharing everything you do!
Actually I was watching it for the first time 😂 and considering that it’s for 4 years ago I believe, I don’t know what is going on with this channel now a days but I know that I will definitely subscribe and I will continue watching your videos (if still available of course) from now on. First of all I really like your way of showing the mistakes and how they can be corrected. It’s so important to know how to fix something in the process that is not perfect. You could easily edited the video and make it look like none of them happened at all but the fact that you showed the footage of mistakes and also the solutions too. So thank you so much for sharing this video. And your positive energy is so appreciated too
Oh Gayle !! You crack me up!!! Whether you bumble or not, your projects are sooo beautiful! Love your videos.
I have been looking for these folios on Etsy and several sites and couldn't find them. Thank you so much for this totorial. You are such a great organizer. I enjoy watching you videos, you always laugh at yourself and so do I. Love you
You make my world a happier place! Glad to know Im not the only bumbler!! Lol! Love you girl!! 😂😂😂
“”THE BUMBLING CRAFTER”!! I love it! Gives hope to all I’m sure....
😂😂😂 I have just watched this for probably the 3rd time over several months, each time my dog gives me the weirdest looks because not only am I laughing like a drain, I'm yelling for you to pull the tape off! One of these days I will actually get round to making a folio for myself. Thank you for being educational & entertaining.
Gayle, I am watching this again and..... I love laughing with you! You are such a delight! ❤️❤️❤️
Gayle, the best thing about you is how real you are. Every morning the first thing I do is watch your latest video and giggle.
Great minds think alike. This sounds like me when I'm crafting! Talking to myself and goofing things up! Yay...we should start a club!
We're are all bumbling with you. Your doing great!!
Love your style! Makes me watch till the end of the video because you are a real world crafter, just like those of us watching! Even as an instructor you are going, “oops! Ah, it’s fine!”
You are priceless! This video just made me smile ear to ear and brightened a very gloomy day. And what a great, space-saving, organized way to store all our bits and bobs! Thank you for being the bumbling crafter!

Lol 😆 yes I m watching Gail for the first time 😆 love it 😀 😆
I was looking for ephemera folders and there you were...answering the call from four years ago. I laughed so hard at your "bumbling" (which I excel at, by the way) but when you realized you had not exposed the carpet tape on the spine, I lost it and almost laughed till I cried. Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they will be constantly amused. At 73, that is my motto. This was a good video, regardless. It is one for the Gayle Agostinelli archival hall of fame!! haha
I admire all of you who post your videos, foibles and all. We all run into these moments and it's always great to see someone else problem solve. Thanks, Gayle!
I am watching you for the first time. And have never enjoyed a video more. Looking forward to more of them
Thank you Gayle. The white vellum paper was the answer I was looking for to make a folio. Learning lots from you.
I love this paper pad. I’ve used it with several projects. I made a bunch of travelers notebooks with it. Love it!
Made my day ... I laughed with you so much. But loved watching this come to life.
you say you hope no one is watching for the first time and lo and behold, I'm watching you for the first time. You had me chuckling out loud. My husband couldn't figure out what was going on. You are absolutely charming. Great video. :)

Gayle u make my day it’s nice to know we all make mistakes and laugh about it love your videos thanks for sharing your idea’s
PRICELESS! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the laughs.
Another fantastic video! I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching you create. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I'm just starting out with journaling and this idea will help me keep things organized because what I'm doing now just isn't working. Seeing you "bumble" shows me that I don't have to be perfect. 😊
I’m so happy that you pointed me here! I’m going to make me one of these!
Oh my dear Gayle! Thanks for sending me to this video. I was giggling with you and I never notice that the tape was a peel back!!!! I just love your sens of humor.
Honestly Gayle. You are a riot! Bumble or not, i love all you do and the giggles that i get from your laughter. Your work is awesome. Tyfs. ❤️🥰🇨🇦❤️
Gayle I love you! This WAS my first time watching you and I thoroughly enjoyed giggling with you in all your bumbling. We all go through it at some time or another & it’s nice to see that you are not the only one. Thank you for sharing your stumbles and bumbles.

Welcome to my channel, Jeanette! So glad you’re here! ❤️
'Bumbling Crafter'! LOL You are a hoot, Gayle! I'm glad you posted this particular process! I had made a little journal for my granddaughter, using pamphlets from a doctor's office. The pages were attached via a plastic spiral. Then, I inserted other pamphlets, attaching them to the spiral pamphlet's pages. Gluing and painting the pages cause the little tabs that connect to the spiral to tear. I figured I needed to bind each page separately into a new binding system. I made a 'spine' out of multiple layers of card stock. I wasn't sure how to proceed. Now, I know! Thank you and BLESSINGS!
Lol . I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone . Bumbling crafter here too . Love that folio . Been wanting to make one myself thanks for inspiring. Hugs Kat
Gail this was my first Video and I swore at times I was watching myself. I love how you laugh at your your bumbles. You are a joy and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos!

Oh my word now I love watching your videos! I get my daily does it endorphins laughing out loud! I too was telling you, don't you want to peel off the backing on the tape? Then I thought maybe I misunderstood what you said and it wasn't carpet tape!!!! It's a gift to be able to laugh at ourselves, especially when we snort! Love you and your videos!
Oh Gayle.... I just love you to pieces!!! This video made my week.😁😁❤❤👍👍
🙋🏻♀️ I watched you for the first time today… and totally enjoyed your amazing sense of humor! Thank You…keep being uniquely you 💫🌺😊
Great job, thank you very much for solving my how to organize some of my items. Have a blessed day.
I went on Amazon to order carpet tape while watching your video and couldn't, for the LIFE of me find any that wasn't double sided tape! Thank goodness as I continued watching, it made sense! Poor Gayle.... but you made it work! I probably would have torn it apart to try and fix it the way it was supposed to be! Love your video and am looking forward to giving it a try!
Gayle. I think your sayings are perfectly normal and I have never been to Montana. We talk like that in Texas too, Love watching you and learning.
You are funny Gail! I totally enjoying watching you craft! This book is great!

Thank you for this tutorial. I have been wanting to make one of these for a long time. You are so inspirational and you make me laugh so you make my day. I appreciate you Gayle.
Thank you again, Gayle! You say you might have goofed up but all that cutting and measurements, can’t do the measurements like you! You did all of the hard stuff great! And look at your new folder! Can’t wait to see the end and what you put in it. My bits and pieces are in baggies now and I have to get the basket out and fish thru it all to find which baggie I need. Perhaps I can do this too, who knows!
Thanks for making me feel better about my own bumbles, Gayle you are a hoot!

I love your videos! You have have such a pleasant relaxed manner. And what a great folio! I'll have to make one too.
Thank you Gayle. I have never been a paper crafter although I watch all the KZread videos and say I'm going to start. I never have, until now. I primarily do bible journaling with lots of stickers. Watching this video I decided I wanted to make a book to put my stickers in. Well I made the book last night and just sewed in the 1st signature. No pictures because it's crooked and patched with washi tape. In the words of my great nephew who just started walking, "I did it".

Gayle you had me rolling today. You make my day!
This was so much fun to watch! I needed a good laugh. Thanks!
Omg I'm laughing in bed and woke up my hubby. You would of had a hard time getting the paper off the tape anyway as you had the tape overlapped!! Was waiting for that...lol thank you Gayle. Hugs
I loved it - you're hilarious, laughing with you. Your folio turned out great. -Lorie
Cracking me up! Can’t wait to see finished product. Great idea!!
Love watching you craft. I've been crafting for lots of years doing lots of different crafts and I bumble through most of them. Jessie
Thanks for the great laughs. Such a fun video. Will be watching you more. I also will be making an ephemera folio.😍
Beautiful! It all worked out in the end!
Lol, bumbling crafter. That's hysterical. I love this! Thank you for sharing your ideas!!

@@gayleagostinelli_ct wouldn't miss it. I love that you show the human side and that you are not afraid to show the real side of life. It gets discouraging to watch and everything goes perfect for the other person and then when you start things go astray. I Loved It! Reality with real person crafting always equals beauty!
Thank you , Gayle! I found this tutorial of your ephemera folio .
Love that you are so willing to laugh at yourself. Great fun to watch.
Oh my gosh I so see myself in you. Totally understand your fumbles. I will be making one of thesee
I was thinking that the reason you use carpet tape was so you didn’t have to glue. But never having used it, I wasn’t sure. I thought to myself , I guess I don’t need that after all. I laughed with you and learned why I wanted to get some. I spent all day on Sunday putting all my labels etc in the book that I made with Roxy. It will save so much time to have all my pretties in one place.
Thank you for the video!! I definitely need to make one of these. And thank you for the part about kids watching your videos and no bad language. My Girl Scout troop is going to do the dollar tree junk journal challenge from two years ago this summer to use as a summer journal and when we travel. Then they want to make altered books. So glad to know I can share your videos with them and not have to worry about content or language. I’m looking at all the Etsy shops you link to and will let them pick out some digital pages to order. Thanks again!!! 💗
You were so fun to watch tonight. I loved that you found humor in what was going wrong. I talk to a lot of people and they get so upset at mistakes so its great to see someone laugh.
I love you and your laughing ways. It gives me a thought that I can do this too. You brought me sunshine to my face as it's been a rough week. Thank you so much for being human and letting us all know we can be human too. Just keeping a "cool" thoughts and go with the flow. It's been a pleasuring watching you today.
Oh Gayle! You are a riot! 😍 I didn’t have any carpet tape but I had a 2” roll of score tape, that seemed to work Mine was crooked too! Good grief! I got tangled up with the sticky! Thought it was a permanent addition!! Ha! Ha! Tyvm. Hugs. Maggie. ❤️🥰🇨🇦❤️
I love seeing the bumbles, it encourages me to try some of these projects!!! Super love that paper, have it myself!!!
I just found this video (though I've been watching all your current ones...in the summer)...and I'm loving the Bumbling Crafter! I'm loving this project and how fun it always is to watch you create. Thanks so much for smiles and all you're teaching me.
Guess what? This is my first time watching your channel and I laughed myself silly along with you. Literally in tears, but I needed it (rough week). I appreciate that you shared this, I make these kinds of mistakes sometimes and it is comforting to know others do too. It is beautiful by the way- and now I know how to make an ephemora folder. :) Thank you SO much!
