Creating a Realistic Water Effect for Miniature Basing

When the Idoneth storm into battle, they are surrounded by the raging Aethersea. Both fantasy and sci-fi settings have a wide range of aquatic environments to explore. Being able to represent that on the bases of miniatures associated with that environment can really enhance the look of your models and add another layer of immersion to your games.
In this video we are creating a water basing effect for miniature bases. I used alternating layers of paints and water effect resin to build up the effect. I’m really happy with how it came out, and I hope you find this tutorial helpful for enhancing your own basing schemes.

Does the vallejo water effects smell or are safe to use in doors

There's no smell, and It's safe to use indoors. However, make sure you have a safe place to leave any bases you're working on while they dry. If you have kids or pets, you don't want them getting into it.
