Today we show you how we transformed a dark varnished vintage bureau writing desk with the use of multiple shades of grey chalk mineral paint, which we apply as layers of blended colour washes. We then distress this for a rustic style and seal for protection. On the interior we painted a complimentary custom mix light baby blue, and added a floral birds furniture transfer for a little added special detail.
