Thanks for this excellent video. What should one do if one of the independent variables is gender that has a finite range of multiple values, such as man, woman, non-binary, prefer not to say?

I'd imagine you would just divide it into 4 columns and give 1s and 0s. For example, if the person is a man, put a 1 in the man column, and a zero in the other 3.
