Creating a Bohemian Vibe using Clay Paints

This time we take an old damaged veneered chest of drawers and give it a whole new look, using layers of blue Terra clay paints, blended together and distressed. Then we apply a bohemian style floral stencil in multiple colours to add a further boho decorative touch.

Very pretty!❤️ I was always taught to clean first and then sand, otherwise the sanding is pushing oil and grime into the wood. Did you do the reverse for a particular reason? Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!!💕❤️

Hey there, Thankyou so much for watching! Yes you are right, I actually always clean before and after sanding. Before to clean all of the grime off, and afterwards to clean off the sanding dust and prepare for the paintwork. I’m terrible for remembering to video every step of the process but getting better the more I do ☺️

@@cherubschalksinteriors Ah, no worries at all! ☺️ I've just been doing this for over 30 years, but as things change and evolve I like to check if there are more efficient ways of doing things. Thanks for the reply! ❤️
