In this episode, Dexter collaborated with his client Berkay, who is also an AE resident artist, to create a 'blastover' tattoo. This tattoo incorporated one of Dexter's recent flash designs and blended it with a tattoo Berkay had for over ten years.
A blastover tattoo can be considered a variation of a cover-up tattoo, but it distinguishes itself by overlaying the old tattoo rather than completely concealing it. This technique allows portions of the original design to remain visible, resulting in a distinctive and unique effect.
