I think a stormtrooper mask makes total sense because what every child with chronic illness wants is to be just normal. They know they're not and they try so hard to look like one to the point that they hide their illness. This commercial hits a homerun.

Beautiful message. Great reaction! FYI: The kid is actually a girl 😉 I was thrown off too like many others coz the commercial intented this. It was easy to assume kid was a boy by the name Alex, Star Wars fan with the brother, BUT if you watch it again and you will notice the final time walking up to the school, kid had girl shoes on, wearing girl uniform, she had earnings on, hair was short coz of chemo and all the other students were al girls! All these things just made the commercial and the message even better!

Its a telecom commercial in partnership with the rogue one premier. they have a "cinema" in a mall to promote films in partnership with them.

I did watched a lot of video reaction to this tv adverts. No one noticed that the person who's wearing a star wars mask is actually a girl. They always said "HE". Just notice the shoes, the sailor moon collar of her uniform and the way she wave her hand. And the last part when she removed her mask..she's totally a girl...just saying..😊

that was a girl, not a boy (the ad intended to condition you in the start that Alex was a boy) ... and this parallels the female character in the Star Wars movie, whom she probably draws inspiration from in her own David-and-Goliath fight against her medical condition ...

Does that mean that all her classmates and teacher's have cancer?
