Thank you very much for showing a simple approach for this basic function. I programmed a lot back in the MS DOS days and I'm finding the Visual Studio complexities challengingly time-consuming. So, I really appreciate your approach.

look in your project/bin folder, the compiler generated a .exe file.

Just use the 2022 version it’s much cleaner and easier to understand. I tried for a week to get the 2024 version to work and I wouldn’t bother tbh I got the 2022 version and it was smooth sailing from there
