Thanks John, Tagged out on Va farm on Nov 18. Already mapping out and designing plots for next year. Want to let your listeners know we planted 2 half acre Sweet Feast brassica plots this year and pulled bucks from all the neighbors! BTW thanks for responding so quickly to my emails. Will be ordering the HD plotscreen, the 360 Blend, and of course the brassicas! .

Great information, especially with the food plots back in the woods. Many folks overlook the challenge of sunlight and leaf drop.

Everything you mentioned equipment wise is what I use to do my foodplot this year going too be adding harrow drag too the mix I also have a swisher mower that if need be I could tow behind my atv. This is 3/4 of an acre little larger than what you’re talking about great video

Thank you. I have a bait plot. For deer and bear. Think I did too many hinge cuts. Making too difficult of terrain. Was trying to make bear's move more to get a good shot. But a fisher was able to get small deer in my bait pile on opening day. Wondered why I didn't see the deer. Been seeing them every day while bear hunting.

You mentioned using a harrow drag to work the ground, should I also get a disc such as the ground hog max? I'm doing plots for the first time this year on areas that had the trees removed and the soil has never been disturbed before.

A small disc may be needed for initial planting. After that the harrow may be all you need. If you in good soil that hold moisture, you may be able to notill ( if doing annuals like grains every year). But that is highly dependent on timely rains.

John, is there a herbicide that we could use on Clover and Chicory combination planting that would not kill either the Clover or Chicory? After watching the deer in my Clover food plots, the Chicory is their preferred selection...although VERY expensive!!! Thanks, Bob

Clethodim for grass. I think I used IMOX on the clover chicory if I remember correctly. Check the label and only do small test area first before spraying the whole plot.

From October1-March 1, In KS, heavy ag area corn/beans, good soil/sunlight on a 1/4 acre kill plot, would the Seclusion 360 produce more available/attractive tonnage or would the Fall forage blend with radishes added produce more and be a better fit? Looking to build more OM also.

Really interested in the seclusion 360. Can I frost seed that into a plot that had brassicas in this last fall? As you mentioned, brassicas don’t last very long in a small food plot. I think the seclusion will be a good alternative. If not, can I use winter rye as a nurse crop this spring or oats only? Have some rye left over from last year. Thanks much. Have been using your products the last few years with great results!!

Would you overseed a clover plot with rye to get the deer to continue hitting it into December (Mid-Michigan)? I do have big ag around me, typically corn and beans. So maybe overseed brassica is another option?
