This video amazes me. I was the woman 30 years ago with those natural nails and tried multiple times to find a nail tech to sculpt a set for me. I got awful, clunky acrylics and always hated the way they looked and felt. The time, artistry and care you took to make these hands beautiful is truly special.

Yes! 🙌🏾 🙌🏾 🙌🏾 Finally, a video that shows exactly how to cut nail forms in a way that makes sense to me! 🥴 When I saw you place the form on the nail, which then allowed you to cut precisely where you needed to in order for the form to be tucked under the nail, at the corners of your sidewalls, I said W😱W…. what a game changer! I’ve watched SO many videos on “how to” cut nail forms and could never understand how/where to start the slits on the corners of the form in order for the form to fit under the corners of the free edge of my nail where you need to make sure the gel not only goes from the tip of the nail, but all the way down to and around your sidewalls. If not, you can have issues with weakness leading to breakage because there’s not enough gel to support your sidewalls and of course your apex plays a substantial role in all of this. Hopefully, this all makes sense! 😉 Ps…. Thanks for the knowledge!👍🏾

Beautiful! Almond shaped nails are very flattering on wider nail beds. I have wide, flat nail beds and I'm currently wearing my very first set of almond shaped full cover tips. I've always preferred tapered square or coffin, and resisted almond because they made me feel old. Don't ask me why... I just don't know. I didn't like them when I first put them on, but they make my fat fingers look slim and elegant.

almond shapes are more vintage, and i feel the same way. i prefer a squared edge for a modern look
