One more time you did an outstanding tutorial, Unmesh! As I’ve told before, you are not only telling HOW to do, but WHY that way. That’s why you’re so good. Your videos gave me a better understanding of “what’s going on inside of the box” Even when you make some small mistakes, while recording tutorial - that’s for good. Because those mistakes, actually, might be helpful to people who confused with "why it doesn’t work". And they will find the answers in your vids right ahead. Its kinda lesson inside a lesson - "you might get an issue at this, here how to solve it". So, the best advantage of your tuts is teaching people how THINK and analyze photo, not just stupidly clicking and dragging sliders. Go on and best wishes. Good job!

Super video. Clearly and interestingly explained. Thank you. I had trouble in sampling the colors from the 'face'. Then only I realized that 'SAMPLE ALL LAYERS' need to be selected on top! Might be a useful hint to others. Thanks again....

great tutorial- but what am i doing wrong. every color I select on my gradient map is a dark green. It is not picking up the colors of the reference face HELP!

My working document is 32bit, when I copy paste an image from the internet to sample from (in 8 bit) I get very different colors - do you know how I can solve this please?

When I go to sample the other face it doesn’t let me it’s still trying to pull samples from the picture I’m working on, what am I doing wrong?

What is new in photoshop 2018

Gradients maps are an amazing tool for many situations but not for skin tones ! The colors of the face are matched but not the rest of the photo. In every example here the face stands out in a wrong way and that's the problem with this method. I'm also a fan of Gradients maps but not for skin tones correction !
