I don't think so. To me, single website must be developed in one page, and navigates within it. Does it really matter the section are scrolled or pulled data from server? It may static, may served cache... What ever I strongly believe on User experiences.

@@careofweb user experience would be better single page scrolling websites are not the same thing as single page website adding auto scroll doesn't make a website single page this website is going to be slower compared to a real single page website
