Sorry but the entire video shows how to use Canva while violating Canva rules. PRO and FREE Canva elements can not be used as you showed here. The tutorial is good but you need to state all elements on all pages must be imported images from other sources. Canva elements can not be used like this.

@@MarinaArtDesign yes they can. If you’re making your own art from elements you can use it, it’s in their terms of service. The only issue is if you just smacked a single element on a white background and tried to sell it as a sticker unaltered. Watch videos on the subject

I enjoyed using your KZread. To add margin easily in CANVA, after creating the new design Go to file - > click on settings - > click on add guides - > click on custom - > column = 1, Gap = 0, Margin = 0.375 becomes 0.38 Row = 1, Gap = 0, margin = 0.375 becomes 0.38 Add guides this will result in perfect Margins. ENJOY fast designs.

but the problem is i already did that as Ivy and Amazon rejected my interior and i need to reedit margins. Its my 2nd time i have problem with interior .So instead making book after book i am wasting time for fixing interior for 1 book :|

Thank you so much for the most simple, clear, and comprehensive explanation how to amazon kdp from beginning to end! And now I will share with you the simplest good word for the day: The good word of the day is you are perfect, righteous,and holy according to the words of Hebrews chapter 10 verse 14 in the KJV version (that has everything listed in past-tense, which is important because then it means we do not have to do anything anymore to become perfect in front of God because He has already done everything for us). “For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.” Although at work or school it is based on how well we did, in terms of going to heaven it says here that it is based on how well He did. Did He do a good job in putting all the sins of the world to Jesus? He did. That’s why when He sees you, you are perfect forever. No longer condemn /or blame yourself/ call yourself a sinner/ask for forgiveness because Jesus has already taken all the blame so much that God can only call you perfect. Amen. So yeah I’m working on this theme as a children’s story so wish me luck

Thank you Ivy! This has helped me the past couple of weeks from start to finish. My book is now in review on KDP. Nervous because I see people saying that using canva elements is a copyright violation. But why would it be available if that’s the case since canva is used for designing purposes. It is understandable that many self publishing authors can't afford to hire an illustrator because publishing expenses are high and are right in your face but the profits are yet to show up if any and most of the time are very modest at the best. Ai is a great optiom for the first time writers to get their work out there without going into great financial expenses.

Thank you for your very kind words and support! For me, I usually don't bother removing the cover template and it has never been an issue for me as I ensure my background elements that I layer on top of it fully covers it. I also flatten the PDF when I export it from Canva (same as what I showed in the video tutorial). However, I have seen some comments that people are being asked by Amazon to remove the cover template, so I would say, if it is not too hard, then just remove it to avoid any problems. Otherwise just make sure it is fully covered and also "flatten" it when exporting, and I think that should be fine at least based on personal experience :) Hope this helps!

Thanks for your kind comment! Regarding your question - I just created the initial square and then used the "Ctrl+C" and "Ctrl+V" to copy and paste the additional squares to create the margins on the other sides of the page. Hope this helps!
