Hi, what can you say about the precision of the measures? Is the scanned model quite similar to the real model? I required a precision of a least 1mm and the objects that I'm thinking to scanned have length from 10mm to 450mm

2:00 this rotating tabletop doesn't work with mine at all. It just keeps showing the result as a flat object, so I have to manually rotate my camera around the object.

I did this and created a fairly detailed image from 67 images of my Canon camera using my phone to take the pictures. But when I bring it in it's showing a strange top and bottom like a floor and ceiling that I don't want! How do I clean up the image so that it's just a rotating 3D model of my Canon camera?

Yes, you can see the library on PolyCam site from other users, and there's some scans of people too.

I tried using the app several times and unfortunately, every one of my renderings looks like the item is melted. The pictures looks good, but the 3d rendering does not. I've tried it in auto and in manual, using 80-120 pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

Glad my video helped! Well, a whole building is quite complicated, since you have go to around the building with your phone, and you couldn't possibly cover all the floors, I guess.

If i was to do this for food places, 3D scan all items on menu, how much do you think I could charge for this? Along with a QR code for customers to scan. Lets say 10/20 items? Let me know could potentially have a new side hustle!

whenever i try to 3d scan something it just comes up with an error and eats up one of my scans..

Does it work for any kind of printer? I mean with FDM is it advisable!

Read this quote I found online: "This guide uses the photogrammetry mode of Polycam, as opposed to LiDAR. You need LiDAR, they make LiDAR attachments for Android.

Ive tried like 3 times on my huawei y9s 6gb ram.. The model is all distorted and looks like a piece of dough twisted and mashed up the wall that you wouldn't know what the hell it is... Tried the same with a Samsung galaxy a21, same thing happened, changed also all the settings and it's not working at all. Please help.

Don't invest in anytNice tutorialng until you know what you're doing. Just your PC is fine for now.
