Often when an artist is full of knowledge they tend to come off as a bit snobbish but you share your tried & true knowledge with all of us freely & without an ounce of ill will! Second, I’m just entering my 50’s after a lifetime of ‘sun worshipping’ (quite literally, I served & bartended even if just part time for much of my life & didn’t appreciate my pale w/a few nose & cheek freckles skin, but I loved not wearing a stitch of face makeup w/a deep tan) & also being placed on lifetime steroids which is wreaking havoc on my skin! I am red, dry, sensitive, brown spots, fine lines & never having a problem w/ acne I am now breaking out on my chin!!! Your tips & tricks are so beneficial & truly work wonders! My only hope is that more & more people find you & subscribe regardless of their age! Xo

Hi Elle, I love cream eyeshadows! I took your advice and purchased the revlon ones, the last all day and work amazing for oily eye lids. Also, side bar....but I was at MOA , sephora with my daughter and I said let’s go to the Tatcha section and use the products Elle suggests, not only did we have an amazing time, but our skin was glowing. (My 15 year old was impressed, which takes a lot). So thanks, now I just need a second job to get all of it! One for her one for me😀

Having my own share of facial flaws, I found that peaking the eyebrow up just a tad bit does help enlarged the eye, particularly when the brow already appears slightly lower than the other. Amazing how optics plays a role in creating that illusion! None of us are perfect! ❤️ Love your application!

Beautiful eye look! I never considered using a cream eyeshadow under a powder shadow! I always use a cream like eye primer then put powder shadow over that, and it always works just great! That foundation looks perfect on you!! You are so lucky that you found just the right mix for your skin!! That t-shirt is just too adorable! They really have been coming out with some very memorable t-shirts, especially over the holidays!!

I love this eye look and I wear a version of it almost every day now thanks to you Elle! I've been using the BH Cosmetics smooth canvas long wear eye shadow primer in malt (a dusty mauve color) and then a shadow from the Nightingale Pretty Vulgar palette over that and under my eye. It lasts all day and looks amazing! Thanks for always giving us such great tips!! xo EJ
