A small suggestion. You know one of the nice things about parchment paper? You can write on it... If, say, you wanted to label to distinguish two visually identical baked products on the same sheet, one with fresh garlic and the other with the jarred version.
When working in a professional kitchen you can order bulk fresh garlic that is already peeled and ready to chop and it only takes 10-15 min to prep by putting in the food processor or similar. It would be unrealistic for a kitchen that is known for a garlic product to use Jarlic, as its distinct flavor doesn't match fresh garlic.

My opinion is that pre-peeled garlic tastes incredibly similar to pre-minced garlic. There's more of a garlic taste, but not enough to convince me that it's worth the time to mince it myself. When I really want a garlic taste, I grate fresh peeled garlic and mix in a pinch of sea salt.
So was the fresh garlic different from the pre-minced garlic?

@ArtzyZero Even if there were no difference, it would be nice to know not to bother going through the effort of using fresh garlic was worth it. As is, it's a bit too ambiguous.

so I noticed you didn't really mention a difference between the taste of the minced vs fresh garlic does that mean it wasn't really noticeable?

I generally find it isnt until you get to granulated/ground garlic that there's a noticeable difference between garlic in it's various forms.

To me fresh garlic has alot more spicy pungent flavor. Jarlic is much more muted and consistent in flavor. With a slightly pickled/preserved flavor. But that's me. If you have a Costco they have refrigerated peeled whole garlic in a massive bag. That can be frozen. 😊
Its pretty much confirmed: Andrew wont allow Alvin to do the "Proofing hands" gesture when the dough has doubled in size
I absolutely love how you make the actual recipes, but you don't waste anything either, you just use it in different things. I love it.

As a vampire I would say that's a matter of perspective.
Alvin, your commitment to not wasting food is almost as amazing as your ability to turn your scraps into absolute gold.
I feel like Alvin's reaction to eating the food has become homogeneous. Every time it looks like he's thinking, "yeah, that's what I expected."
You should put all of the larger rolls on one sheet tray and the smaller on the other to be able to bake them properly.
I just finished kneading dough and wondered what I should do with it. Thank you for the advice.
If someone thinks you stink of garlic, that's just because they themselfs made the mistake of not eating delicious garlic.

For those wondering about the inconclusive fresh-minced vs jarred garlic: The fresh-minced has a stronger flavor, but it can occasionally be overwhelming. The jarred is much milder, but is a lot easier to regulate flavor with.

I’m salivating so much, this looks so amazing.
I just came from a video about buffets where the solo presenter gets like 7 heaping plates of food and takes a couple bites from each before cutting to the next scene and doing it again for lunch. Anyway, what I'm getting at is I really appreciate that you take the time to show us at the end that the food wasn't wasted.

Garlic bread is my favorite food. I could honestly eat it for every meal. Or just eat it all the time without even stopping.

You can use pre-made bread rolls, that way you can make the cream cheese filling and garlic butter only

Interesting note: Alvin distinctly used Fresh Garlic and Chopped Garlic but then seemingly forgot to mention which version tasted better. Oops.
So, did you make the cream cheese sweet? Most other recipes I have seen for this make the cream cheese sweet like a dessert, which I'm not a fan of. So I'd be happy if you just used unadulterated cream cheese for this.
