The greatest discovery of my sixty two years of loving music Aslan thank you. I am indebted David Tomney born in Dublin living in Peckham London a friendship that rapidly evolved from June 2020. David introduced me to Aslan and so much Irish music, his only album 'Made In Dublin' had been lost. Well this album and others by Aslan, The Wolfe Tones, Horslips, Thin Lizzy and The Pogues were easy choices for a Christmas present. The joy of shared music is a huge part of our friendship, Made In Dublin is our favourite from the collection. Christy Dignam you are a brilliant singer and lyricist. David vividly remembers you in Dublin the drinks shared, your songs are so much a reflection of my friends life journey. If there is just one song to share it has to be Crazy World sung live by Christy. This song has a deep personal resonance and seems so befitting in these challenging times. The filmed version is so beautiful especially when you step off the stage and stands on a tiny round table encouraging the audience to sing, pure joy audible gold. Blown away by the tightness of this band and the vocals are out of this world. Great song!!!

One of the best live videos you will see. My fiancé and I got to see Aslan a few years ago at Vicar St and the vibes were phenomenal. The crowd was up and singing from beginning to end. Thank you Christy and the band.

No they were the original you too bono and clan tobacco because Christy unfortunately I couldn't go because he had a bad heroin Habit at time. So they went with plan B you too and bono. (it's a crazy world)

This song is so touching I never get sick of hearing it.. I just had a bath and it came on and it sent goosebumps (chillbumps) up my whole body with enjoyment.. not many songs do this to me only certain Irish rebel music when I’m poorly.. Much Love Aslan x

U2 are definitely the most successful band to come out of Ireland but definitely not the best! Such a gem of a band! Bono couldn't lace Christys boots! Phil Lynott would probably agree!

Discovering this band in 2014. An Irish gem of a band. Another song that is simply beautiful,catchy with meaningful lyrics. From what I’ve heard so far from them they could have been another great successful Irish band had they not disbanded early in their career. I’m a huge U2 fan & I’m loving this band just as much after missing on them all these years.

Remember one of the trips to Tipp - Bryan Adams was supposed to be top of the bill, but they put him on before Aslan - and a large chunk of the crowd spent Adams' set chanting 'We want Aslan'..... ....I was one of them.....

I love that I discovered this band but the circumstances could have been different although the song matches them, in October 2012 our niece took her own life and as we were been driven to donegal this came on the radio and it caught me right away I asked my partner who they were cos they kept coming on the radio and he explained about them, I didn't have to wait long as my other niece took her life too 45days after her sister thanks christy and the band because your right it is a crazy 🌎 love loads 🙏 😢 💔 xx take care christy
