Great job Ronda, Kevin and Sanders👍🙏🙂
We Shattered an All-Time Record this past Tuesday in St. Louis (MO). Old 150+ year Record was 79 degrees and we Reached a High of 86 degrees that day. 👍🙏

Wow!! You had very warm temperatures!!
What a beautiful lady, love the way you explain everything. Love you guys.❤❤
I worked on a small dairy. (45. )cows. In 67. The hardest job i ever loved. So much to do. Almost 80 now. Look forward to your vidios every week. Thank you , i live in Oregon. And must say it looks cold there
Congrats to all the newborns!
U guys have a wonderful farm and your animals are awesome you guys take good care of them love you guys ❤
Happy Sunday, Ronda!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. The cows are so cute 14:56! Awwwww!😍😍😍😍😍😍
Love the crazy color patterns of the calves.
Always love ❤️ all your videos Always love ❤️ to see the cows and calves and of course Always love ❤️ to see all yall
Awesome video Ronda. You are right the weather has been crazy. I'm a little worried that this is going to become the new normal. I hope not. We've only been recording weather patterns for 150 years roughly right so I guess we don't really know maybe this is a normal pattern we are in. Here in Connecticut we're looking at almost 5 inches of rain between right now and Sunday morning so that's a little excessive. Lol
Another great video!
Wow! Hands full!
Late watching the video today. Very good video as always. Travel to Rhode Island that's why I was late your friend from Virginia
Yeah that was a rude awaking when we went from 72 down to 17 with 2" of snow. But today we're back in the 60's and the snow is all gone again. Gotta love Wisconsin weather.
well in spring here where live in Montana above the 45 parl I plant my onions and potatoes and beat and carrots and stuff like the rooted veggy until warms up some more but because of the wood pallet garden beds I have I made small hoop house on them that I can take off so I can plant lettuce and all way sooner than most people
Great stuff!! Thank you all for sharing !!! Stay safe and God bless!!! Eddy
Old saying. February will shake em, March will take ‘em.
Lots of work during calving season. It's quite rewarding though seeing the new babies.
Try hanging Holly branches in the barn ceiling to get rid of ringworm in your dairy calves or cows. This is a natural remedy that KZreadr I Farm We Farm, uses to get rid of ringworm in his Dairy Barn. The Holly Branches have a natural anti fungal and other properties to prevent ringworm. We enjoy your KZread channel and watch every episode.

I remember feeding calves in a bail. Had to watch out for they would butt. Cute as heck.
That boy calf had a heart face
My grandmother worked at a dairy farm in the 60s and I remember that I had to get shots before I could go and help her out with cleaning up the milking station. I was only 10 or 12 at the time.
Thunderstorm always make a real difference in the weather. Either the temps go up or down with Spring just around the corner. Time to plant some seeds for the garden.
I always enjoyed watching the cows with their calves. mamma was checking on things, making sure baby was ok. the chickens didn't take long to eat the rye grass and enjoy it. the weather has to be watched to keep the herd and especially the babies warm. daddy would sometimes bring calves into the house to warm up in the kitchen on the linoleum floor and the oven on low. occasionally bring a small baby pig to warm up too. then take them back to mom inside his jacket to keep it warm on the way and make sure it would eat and put it in the middle of its siblings to stay warm. sometimes we would have a calf or piglet get warmed up and go explore and wake us up looking for mom. one time a pig got tangled up in a cover hanging off the bed and started squealing and woke up my sisters. what fun we had. daddy took it back then.

Another great video Rhonda. I grew up on the family dairy farm and this brings back memories
The weather has been so strange lately. I'm on the east coast and my weather here basically fallows yours. It got up to 62 degrees during the day. But after night fall. A cold front came in with heavy rain. But come morning the temperature dropped down to 20 with light snow. There's never a dull moment on your farm
Bonjour ils sont beau vos veaux, cela fait plaisr de les voir avec leur mères ,merci pour vos vidéos Albert le Suisse
Thanks
Nice looking little cuties in the barn and your setup for seed sprouting in your daughters former room is nice. We have some seeds started too, had been getting a little behind in the past, but we wanted to get a better start this year. It's currently 76 here in Mid Missouri. We're going to try both raised bed and in ground gardening this year in a new location. Good luck on the up and coming growing season, both in the fields and the garden, also continued success on the calving. Have a blessed week ahead.

Congratulations ❤
Beautiful markings on the little brown and white bull calf. Of all the flowers you grow are any of them edible such as nasturtium? Blessings and Grace on your family and farm and to all the ranchers who have lost so much due to the fires in Texas.

Yes, I grow a bunch of edible flowers. Lavender, pansies, hibiscus, marigolds, violets ,bee balm, daylily, sunflowers, borage, calendula, chamomile, bachelor button, anise hyssop, just to name a few. 😊
Great content
Big temperature swing.
When I was growing up on the farm, we treated ringworm on our cows with a mixture of sulphur and used motor oil. It worked well for us. I even got ringworm once, bad the prescription cream from the Dr didn't work, so we pasted on the sulphur/motor oil mix a few days in a row and it went away. I've never had it since. The cows/calves, we took a good paint brush and put it on good 2x a day until it went away. Depending on the animal, it could be gone in a few days.

The weatherman said that so far we have had the 4th warmest winter on record. I’m hoping next year we go for the 3rd warmest winter on record.
A farm is where you can see life's cycle. Calves born and older cows put out to pasture. Always 24/7 work to be but rewards are few but accomplishments great. Love your videos.

Thank you for sharing your day with us on your KZread channel. The medications for your cows and calves are interesting. The chickens sure enjoy the rye sprouts. Blessings from Calgary. By the way, we were -21° C this morning. . . . Spring is supposed to be just around the corner. We have had blizzard conditions the last few days. 😮

Hi, just listening to you mention ringworm in shed and calves pickjng it up. A cure we use here in Ireland on our farm is to get a few holly branches and tie them up in bunches and hang them up in shed. Its said that as holly is dying the vapours that come from it clears away the ring worm. Worth a try 😊 Love folliwing your homestead 💛

I like the blue nail polish Ronda, pretty classy!
Good video Rhonda, good idea growing the forage for the chickens, a cure for ringworm is to hang male holly bushes on the roof rafters it had an antifungal property in it.

We are in beef now and we don't usually have a whole lot of trouble with ringworm but in past years when we were in the dairy business we did. We are in Western Pennsylvania in at that time we were blessed with a small not really high-producing but it produced enough oil call my oil well on our farm. We used good old Pennsylvania crude to treat the ringworm in the cattle

We have had some crazy weather also. One day it is in the upper 60's, then by the next morning it is in the 20's. Now, we have a string of 60's coming. This is not good for the farmers with fruit trees, because the trees will start budding, and then we could get freezing or below freezing weather that would play havoc with their crops.
Green Acres of Clay, Thank you for my weekly episode. You have a great farm. Its 70 again today in Michigan. Time to plant the tomato's. I can only plant Three, Two are Beef Steak. What is Rhonda's most Favret tomato in the hole world. I'm going to guess Cherakee purple. Thanks again and God Bless You...

Thank you Mrs.D. Springtime in the barnyard! Well almost. But it's just around the corner! What rollercoaster winter weather we've been having Eh? No complaints though. El Niño been a barly barly good to us. Next year we'll probably go back to "real'' winter, so let's enjoy it while we have it. Happy Easter to you & yourn. ben/ michigan
what i found that works good for ringworm is fluid film ,spray it on than wait couple of weeks and spray it again then it is usually gone. i use to raise dairy heifers ,got heifers in from all different dairies.
Vonderful video

I come from a dairy family in Minnesota.
Old timers say a goat or two in the barn will drive the ringworm virus out of the barn . I think it has to do with the two dangly scent glands under their chin . Idk we had two in our barn I was a hired hand idk I've heard it before lol

God doesn't want you spending all your time building your selves a big ranch and spending all your energy on travail. You are slaves to your own ways. And God might get a little of your time ? He's a jealous God for a reason. Sell it all, give alms, pick up your cross and follow him, Not your self
@acresofclayhomestead

I would have to disagree with you on this. If we sell everything, how will we generate income to continue giving? We aren't building an empire for ourselves. We are just being stewards of what God has so graciously blessed us with. Bible talks a lot but working... If a man don't work, he shouldn't eat. God says to tarry until he comes back. God said he will prosper the WORK of our hands. God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. Ecclesiastes 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God. If we all take your advice, sell all we have... what would you eat, wear, live in, drive, entertain yourself with youtube on??
