Beleive it or not back then it wasnt called grime. This genre didnt have a name. Just came out. All i know is pay as you go were going a different direction to heartless and thats where i first heard the difference from garage. Dizzee was a younger, maxwell d wiley dirty goodz and others were already creating this sound.

Seems like they squashed the deja beef and had a proper clash, some of the lyrics aint got the same potency in them cos they’re being repeated. Id say its after makes more sense!
