We were never taught the many of our ancestors were Islamic, and marched with the prophet Muhammad. It's a breakaway, and re emergence of oneself. I wouldn't call it idle. It has actually brought millions of black Americans back to Islam, who's identity and history was stripped from them. I just think others like Arabs, Egyptians, and other places have a different reality.
