This seems to be the best area I like so far. Not hectic with scooters all over the place. Nice room. Excellent waters. Great food. Nice friends.

This island life is paradise, white sand, clear water, corals, fishes, not to mention the sunset. Maldives is definitely on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing this incredible experience.

The grilled fish looks delicious. The salad looks very good too. 🐟

Hi Wiiliam, I have followed your videos when you were in Mexico with Maria. Your videos from the Maldives have really been very informative and show how one can visit the Maldives as an independent traveller rather than staying at tge hugely overpriced resort islands. You wiil need a lot of good luck for your next destination so all the very best!!!!!!! Have a superb trip !!!!

It's been interesting to get a contemporary view of Maldives. My wife and I made a trip there in 1981. Huge changes visible. I was a Diver all my young life and realized that all the reefs I had seen elsewhere were half dead by comparison to Maldives. You have to get the dive boat to drop you on a coral wall that is shallow at the top and drops off to dark blue water. You were in too deep water to snorkel. Get some one to take you to a small atoll with a lagoon. We also loved visiting Sri Lanka. You know the Maldives is in danger of being overcome by sea level rise.

Thanks for showing us that Maldives can be affordable. Honestly, I’d never ever even considered going there, until I saw your vids. I always assumed it was a ‘rich man’s” destination only. Now, I’m hoping to one day visit there.

During the 2010s, the islands were given permission to open guest houses and budget tourism has been increasing here since then

thanks yes I struggled for 3 years making videos, nobody was watching, and I had to take different jobs in different parts f the world but now it is going well and I can travel continuously.

Wow! How beautiful and clear the water is and so many shades of blue I could get used to life in the Maldives. You could always travel to a more lively destination when you want shake things up. I could enjoy that. As always, great content. ☺️❤🙏🏼

Wow! The restaurant fish cuisine looked so delicious. It looked like your spot on the beach was free of vendors. What a bonus! Your lip synch was hysterical. Nice pool trick too! I thought the swing was going to collapse and so it held my attention. Can’t wait for your next adventure.

I was amazed how you sprinted so fast in that hot burning sun - you definitely would need a quick dip in the Ocean to cool off - or a quick trip back to your air-conditioned room 🥵 Beauty snorkeling excursion and fun in the sun - stay cool , William !!!

The clarity and underwater visibility of the water was stunning.I never knew there was an affordable alternative to the fancy resorts in Maldives.Just beautiful. You got really fried,though! Need super high spf and reapply throughout the day, before and after swimming! I have ur same complexion,spent a lot of time in sun getting fried when I was younger and am paying the price now!! Not fun.Once ur skin is damaged,it cannot recover.

@@williamtaudien if ur anywhere you can get "sport" or water resistant,pick that up.U still have to apply throughout the day but better Get highest SPF u can find-30,50 or more Just pick up a tube of zinc oxide at an RX .It think and white but perfect for nose,lips when ur in the water.Also,try to find a long- sleeve rash guard.Sone have hoodies.V light,quick drying fabric. A regular shirt cannot prevent total burn.Also,wear a wide brimmed hat walking around to protect ears neck,and face.A safari type,not straw.The safari style can pack flat.Hope this helps.This is serious shit!

I think that was Meeru island you swam too... I used to work there as the golf coach, teaching and entertaining the guests. Amazing place, miss it so much, but it also becomes boring to live on a small island for so long.

Hi William! another great video! I am actually celebrating Ramadan.. its a beautiful month of fasting(No food or water) from sunrise to sunset for the entire month. We focus on prayer, reading our holy Quran, charity and good deeds. I hope you were able to experience some of the culture and traditions over Ramadan.
