@@Slimboy025 oh for sure! Based on your rank and assignment the military deals with the traveling aspect for you. Once you’re out, if you leave with an honorable discharge the best you get is access to the base, GI bill & military discount but the passport is up to you at that point. I’m guessing he’s been out for a while so it makes sense. My mom was based in Germany as well but she’s a retired veteran and needs a passport to gain access.
